Ok, I have a question: I was at Kroger in douglasville and they were out of water (not suprise cause of problem we are having) so I go to CS and ask for a raincheck on the deeerpark 24 pack water which is on sale this week buy 10/$5 off which would make it 2.99 for 24 bottles of water. Will they told me they could not give me a raincheck for that price cause of it being 10/5 off. When did the policy change cause they have done it in the past. Or where they wrong about that. I was going to buy 10 packages of water so I would have gotten the $2.99 price. TIA

The Krogers that I frequent write the price, then $5 off when you buy 10 - so I do have to buy 10 when I redeem it, but I generally do anyways.

I don't know corporate policy, though.

Did you ask for a manager? If not call corporate.....sounds like one of those making up the rules after the game has started!

Calling corporate in these cases is generally moot, as they say that the managers are allowed discretion. They have directly told me, "Our policy is ____, but the managers don't all do it that way." It wouldn't hurt to try and see, but don't be surprised if you get an unsatisfactory response.

I would ask for the manager to see what he/she says about it, but I know that the manager at my store will not write one for the reduced (after 10) price.

My stores will only offer a RC on a promo if the sale price is in the ad. For example, the amp was $1.50 (tagged and on sale), and part of the buy 10 get $5 off promo, but they would only give me a RC for the buy 10 get $5 and not at the $1.50 price since it wasn't in the ad.
