Hi Everyone,

This is my first post. What can i do when the closest Giant to me won't double coupons as the other Giant stores in my city do? They say they will but it doesn't happen usually at this store. Also other things, as-
This morning i wanted to stock up on friskies cat food bc they advertised a .50 store coupon for buying 16 cans of catfood. When i get 32 cans at other Giant stores in my city, or 48 cans (3 x 16), the right amount of coupons come out automatically at the register but only one at this store no matter how much you buy.
i also had a manu coupon from Friskies for .50 off (it was stuck to a can i previously had) when buying 12 cans and they just gave .50 and .10 off on my register tape-saying 'double coupon' but i should have received 1.00 off.

When i politely mentioned about not receiving three .50 store coupons the cashier acted like i was being a problem, saying i had to go to customer service which wasn't open for almost two hours. When i came home i noticed the coupon not being doubled also. i always have trouble at this store, sometimes their scanner won't 'read' the .50 store coupons when i bring them in the next time i shop.

Since this store is closer it's way more convenient going to than the other Giant stores that are at least four times further but i feel so ripped off.
Is there anything i can do? It's too difficult to go back to custmer service all the time. Can anyone get them to honor what they advertise?

Thanks for any ideas. i guess i will just go elsewhere when i can but it's so unfair.

It's good to meet you:wavehi:

Sorry to hear you are having multiple problems. When I had a problem at my local Giant store I contacted them by sending an email to the customer service address on their website. They were very responsive, I got a prompt reply via email and they had the store manager call me and he apologized, they even sent me a gift card for the money that I had not received.

You should give this a try, include the store name, number, address and tell them the transaction number, date and time from your receipt to back up your claim. I believe they are able to lookup the transaction on their end to see what happened.

Good luck!
