So I printed a coupon from the Aquafresh web site .It has the coupon print at the top of the paper and the rest of the page is blank .
So anyway I cut out the coupon part and left the rest of the blank page at home for scrap paper.
So I go to cvs not my normal one but one I have been to before .
So I grab a few things and head to the register .
So I give my cvs card ,and then the manufacture coupon .
She scans it then walks off to see another employee .
I cannot hear what they are saying as they had men in their shampooing the carpets .
So she comes back and says that they will take it this one time ,but next time I must bring in the whole page .
Thats when i said that the rest of the page was blank and thats why I did not .
So chalk this up to "new " rules
On side note I popped into to Wag's for their toothpaste deal and no problems there with the same coupon .
Anyway I know when its a cvs type coupon I must bring in the whole page but never heard this one before on this type coupon .
Which makes me wonder what they would say if you would have printed from one of those sites where it sometimes prints 3 per page .

That doesn't make any sense. Like you said if it prints 3 or 4 to a page then you have to cut them apart. They are probably to dense to even realize that the "new" rule will not work.

Yeah, that's really weird. There are little scissor-marks around the coupon where you're supposed to cut it out.

I also had trouble w/ internet-printables today. I tried to use the 1.50/Vaseline Sheer Infusion lotion from the link at cvs.com, but was told by the manager that it couldn't be accepted because it could be a fraudulent copy (in spite of the unique # on the coupon, the number to call on the coupon, etc., etc.). It was even scanned in and everything! So I just left, and wrote an email via the website to complain and ask for clarification. It was embarrassing to have this happen while two people were behind me in line. She didn't say anything about bringing in the whole page though, lol!

There is usually a number on the ip from veri-fy where you can go onto their site and enter the number and it will tell you if the coupon is still valid. Maybe you should ask them to check it for you because you know you only printed it once so it should be valid maybe that will stump them for awhile.

I think that these people are just on a power trip to change the rules as they see fit. they just wish that they can save the money like we do. i had the one manager stand over the cashier while I was checking out and he told me since i had only two products i could only use 2 coupons and 2 ecbs. 1 ecb per product. I just simply said that it was a new one and paid my $2.50. next time i will make him madder and use 1 higher amount ecb and get a lower oop

I sometimes cut out my coupons while I'm in the store. I can so see myself pulling out the little paper scraps from my purse (because it doubles as a receptacle for garbage), dumping them on the counter, and carefully arranging them in place around the coupon. B**chy compliance is win.

I can just see you with a pile of paper pieces, trying to piece them together like a jigsaw puzzle :hysterical:

I actually had that happen to me once, CVS employee asking me to bring the whole page. She was nice about it, but clearly naive. I explained that the rest of the page either has the ad, or has other coupons attached. In addition, my coupon folder is already thick, if I were to keep the pages intact, it would be impossible to carry my coupons around. She seemed to get it and never asked again. As far as I know, there is no rule, but rather an employee who has never printed a coupon before.
I know what you mean by embarassment. I hate it when one of my coupons don't scan and the employee refused to override and it messes up my entire transaction.
