I'm getting confused and frustrated entering blinkie coupons into the database and into my have list.

I search first to see if the blinkie is already in the database. Let's say I have a Kozy Shack $1/1 that starts with a 5. My coupon does not say anything about doubling anywhere on it.

The choices in the database area Kozy Shack $1/1 (DND5)

and

Kozy Shack $1/1 (DND)

Neither is what I have, so I have been entering a new blinkie with

Kozy Shack $1/1 , starts with a 5.

Sometimes mine start with a 9, but rarely do they ever say anything about doubling.

A few days later I see in my have list some (DND5) and (DND9) coupons! I know I did not put them there, so it seems my entering of the blinkie is getting deleted?

I don't want my traders to think they cannot double the coupons I have? What to do? I have a bunch more to enter, but am waiting for an answer. Anyone?:thanks7:

I have several blinkie coupons on my desk now. At the very top of the coupon, there's a yellow highlighted area on each on of them, and "Coupon Not Subject To Doubling" is written in the area. The barcodes either begin with a 5 or a 9.
If you have SmartSource Coupon Machine (aka Blinkie Machine) coupons, they should have this wording. If not, then the 5 or 9 in the barcode is what tells the registers whether to double or not double.
Also, when you enter a coupon into the CDB, it must be approved by the Mod in charge of the CDB before it's listed. If it's something that's already listed, it won't be listed again. If you've checked the box to have a coupon added to your have list, wish list, etc., it will be added based on what is already in the CDB or the coupon you entered, if there's not one listed already. HTH.
