I love this coupon. One time the register was acting weird and I somehow got an employee discount off the .99 (we're not supposed to get any discount if it's under a dollar) so I got 3 for .10 :)

At our CVS there is a coupon booklet in the PHARMACY, but you have to ask for it.. and it $100 dollars in coupons today I used as follows;
1.Klennex .96 cent coupon in book $1.00/1
2.Dry Idea 2.99 coupon in book $1.00/1 get $1.00 EBCS
3.Colgate toothbrush $1.00/1 coupon in book (found on the trial size aisle )get $1.00 EBCS
TOTAL=4.95-$3.00 Coupons=$1.95 got back $2 EBCS FREEEEEEEEEEE

did you have the 2 dollars off two packs coupon from the scanner? that is what we are using to pay for the nuts.

I've seen it mentioned a few times that you guys are getting coupons from the scanner. How does that work? Do you scan an item and if they have a coupon for it, then it prints one out? Or do I scan my rewards card?

I scan my card and thats how i get the coupons .

you scan your card on each visit... scan it untill it tells ya no more avail. try again tomorrow... cuz sometimes it will print more than once... or untill you get the cvs product ones.... like $$ off nuts and 2/10 cvs brand purchase...if you get that first then there are no more for that day..hth

scan your cvs card at the free standing scanner, then after it prints your whatever-it-prints, scan it again. keep scanning till it says "no more coupons. please try again tomorrow", then quit.:wink7:

You scan your extra care card and if you have any coupons it will print one out of the side..Good luck!!!!!!!!!!1

If you look it says up to $2.00 so they just adjust it down BUT...if you hand the CVS coupons first like the nuts or violage or whatever it takes the full 2.00 off so this will help lower your OOP if you are buying more than just the 2 bags of nuts, which im sure there is always something to buy. Also there were some small green bags of I think cashew pieces that were .79 so if you used these you would get even more off you OOP if you hand these coupons over first before any other MFQ. HTH

Here in Oklahoma, we seem to pay tax on everything! Even if we have a manufacturer's coupon that makes it free.

However, if I buy only the nuts, it comes out absolutely free, no tax or anything!

Yes we pay tax on before coupons here in Alabama whick sucks.. but if its a cvs coupon you shouldn't have to pay tax, so shouldnt be included in taxable amount. Have you checked it to se if you are being taxed on even store coupons?

So most everyone knows about getting free nuts with the 2/2 crt... if not there are several threads just do a search... I personally have close to 100 bags of nuts and counting since they seem to do this deal often. I have seen others post about getting chocolate covered nuts and such. Just wondering which ones you guys love the most and what will work even though its not just nuts only. I personally love the cashews. The wasabi almonds aren't as good as blue diamond but are ok for free. I don't like chocolate ( I know im strange) but thought maybe others might like seeing what else they can get or what the favorites are of all the ones available. (So you dont end up with a bunch of bags of something you dont like, before realizing there is something you couldve got that you love.)

My favorite is the dried berries bag. I just discovered them. It has almonds, walnuts, dried blueberries, dried cranberries, and dried cherries (the cherries are so moist and tangy/sweet). I keep these in my car, and when I am starving, I eat them instead of grabbing something at the store/fast food, or I give them to my kids when they need a snack and we are out running errands.

Well I finally found them again at one of like 5 or 6 stores. They don't seem to carry those very much in my area NW Florida. But got 4 bags for salads yesterday. yay!

I find the chocolate caramel peanut clusters on an endcap near the pharmacy in my store. Not near the snacks or other hanging candies. They are so good!

I don't think the scanner prints anything on Sundays. I don't recall ever getting any coupons then. On Monday's (or the first day of that week that I scan my card) is when the scanner seems to reset and prints all the new weekly coupons.

You can scan your card daily and get coupons. Keep scanning till no more come out. Then the next day you can do it again!

I got $1/2 today on the nuts and candy. I used the candy one with the BOGO shampoo offer and paid .47 total for everything. Not too bad. Wish I had known about the trial sizes when I had the $2/2 coupon last week. I bought the cans instead. Dang!
