There was a coupon in the last few weeks for 2/2 new Kelloggs with fiber. I think it showed Fruit loops and frosted flakes. Don't see it in the database
There is also a tearpad for $2 off milk wyb these new with fiber varieties.
This would be a nice combo if K-Mart has the new kind.
has anyone seen it? My K-marts are not Super K's and don't tend to have a big inventory of anything.

I know this may sound odd but i am new to the kmart doubles events. you are referring to bogos and getting two free. does that mean that when you buy the one you get two addtional free because it doubles or do they just give both items to you for free? pardon the stupidity!?

It is not stupidity at all. How are you going to know if you don't ask. The BOGO coupons that are less than a $2 value will double giving you both items free. For example there are BOGO coupons out right now for 20 oz. Dr. Pepper. You get two of them give them the coupon and it doubles automatically making both free. HTH

I always thought this too until I asked them to lay out exactly what it meant because it doesn't say "No BOGO coupons". They said they wont take coupons to double on their BOGO sales. I agree it's YMMV because they don't seem to know 100% sure what it means and it's their ad.

I do dislike promoting BOGO coupons to use though just in case someone's Kmart wont let them :( They are great coupons but it can depend on the store.

I also noticed that barilla and Ragu are $1 each. That means the Barilla plus 1/2 or Barilla whole grain 1/2 will be free and the Ragu would be 50 cents for 3 with the 1.25/3 Q, If the cashiers do it right. When they scan the coupon, they need to select the 3 Ragu on the screen for it to double.

Unless my ad says P&G only and my store enforces it, I'll be using a variety of coupons the day of. My recent (9 am this morning) email states nothing about P&G and my manager says he knows nothing of the P&G.

I will be totally in shock if I go the day of and am only allowed to use P&G coupons. SHOCKED.

I can pick out the P&G stuff if it helps though. I'll work on that. There are a couple good deals for P&G only.

I think Mod's will change it if there is actual proof like an ad. Right now many of us are still getting the email where all coupons are allowed. Right Mod's? Are we waiting for an ad to go by?

I dont see a problem with having the list. My email says ALL coupons. Supposedly the ad doesnt even say anything about double coupons so its going to be very YMMV going by what your email says and what your store says.

I believe the wording in the ad usually says no doubling on buy one get one free offers, not that you can't use bogo coupons. But, like others have mentioned, your store may have a unique interpretation. One of my local Kmarts put up a sign saying that you can't use a coupon on the free item in a bogo because "it is already free" and posted this on every checkout lane. I guess that was their version, not that the coupon wouldn't double but that you can't use two on a bogo. Actually, I had used two on bogo makeup at that store in the past and both doubled and went through...so who knows??

My bogo coupons have always doubled. I am wondering if a bottle cap for a BOGO pepsi would double. I have four, does anybody know...or do you have a theory? Walmart entered mine as cash the other day, so I am thinking probably not.

Yes, it will--as long as they enter it as a manufacturer coupon (I think they call it a food coupon). I had several of these for the Crush during last doubles & they all doubled.

I will be going with the official published limits in the ad, these emails are all over the place. There is nothing wrong with getting lists together in the meantime. Different regional ads may even have different rules, which is par for the course with Kmart.
Well, so much for this idea. I have the ad and there is absolutely no mention of Super Doubles for the upcoming week.
Who wants to go in Sunday and be the guinea pig, lol?:giggle2:

I did this today too with 5 boxes of cereal. I saw the $5 come off but I had other things I bought too. It might have been an issue with the coupons, but I think someone mentioned earlier that the stores issues around noon. Not sure what management will do, because in my experience, they hate having to give money back, lol.

Example = Purina One is 1.29/can. Get 2 cans. The register asks how much the value of the coupon is when rung up and the cahsier enters 1.29. The register doubles this making both cans free!

As long as both items are up to $2 in value, it should work. However, if you buy 2 items that are priced over 2.01, it won't double and you'll get 1 free like usual.

My K-Mart included the Special K crackers as the same price as the cereal, so I got both crackers and cereal for free with the 1.00/1 printables that are out.

Also, anyone who still has the 1.00/1 Vocalpoint Rice Crispies, they are on sale for 4/9.00, so they are .25 after coupons.

My K-Mart also has a big ziploc containers display, and on the top there are tear-offs for 1.25/3 of either baker's chocolate, jello pudding/jello, or philidelphia cream cheese. Use those to get jello pudding for .99 each and you pay .50 for three pudding!

Wheat thins are on sale right now for 2/5.00, so use the 1.00/1 coupons and get them for .50

Also, there was (is?) a IP for 1.00/2 Bumble Bee products: Bumble Bee tuna is 1.19 a can, use the coupon for .19 a can tuna!

I am loving these double-coupon deals! Whoo!

Does anyone update the Kmart price book? I tried to get some ideas using that and planning out Q's this weekend, but didn't have much luck.

I did manage to get out to the Super Kmart near me (An hour away) and got 281.00 stuff for 112.00 though. I'll post on that later (aka when my boss goes out to lunch!) I did okay, but feel like I could have done MUCH better if I planned more!

I had fogotten to consider that when figuring up how much they should charge so I would know it all went through fine. I took my total minus all my coupons doubled and was several dollars under what it should have been and ended up being. :whistle67:

I wish I had stopped by a library to print off more special K IPs, but I used what I had and was okay with $.50 a box. Free would have been better, but I didn't know where a library was in that particular town. Keep your eyes open for some of the boxes that say you can get $10 towards jean via MIR with tokens from the back of the box ... you need 5 tokens. :BigHand: Funny how that works out. Also, my store had a large display of this cereal, so if the shelves look empty of the kind you want isn't there, go look for the disply. At my store it was a square stacked pile of the boxes, in an open space between aisles by the laundry stuff.

Also wished that I could have waited and ordered some q's, but my week didn't work out that way. Oh well, life goes on.

Total before q's = $62.26
OOP after q's = 18.71 (including 2.48 in tax) = 70% savings

My reciept said I "saved 35.68", but when I added up my q's it came to be more and the math worked out. Not sure how their register figured up my savings.

My goal was to only get free items, but deviated from that as you can see. I guess it was worth the trip, though next time I'll know more of what they carry. This was my first time in their store and I had no idea what items they had.

ETA: I met another couponer at the store today. I was price checking something and they stopped to ask if it was double coupons, I'm guessing because my binder was open in the cart. We talked for a bit. It was nice to meet someone who didn't look at me strange. :wavehi: Hi again if you are on here. Also, I did have an employee ask if I needed help. Told her no, that I was fine. A bit later she came up again to ask what I was doing, her manager was curious. I told her that I was trying to match up coupons and was new to the store so it took some time for me to find things. She said, "Oh. We thought maybe you were price checking." All very nicely, they were just curious. Then later I had a customer ask if I was working. Guess the binder makes me look "official". :giggle2: Though "hard core" was the term used by the DH (?) of the fellow couponer.

Yes. For some reason, I keep asking my husband to come with me. His job in the store is supposed to be keeping our toddler entertained and happy. However, I end up having a lot of conversations about why we can't get $4/lb. meat or chips we don't need, etc. Then I get distracted.

How do you get the coupons to print at a library? Don't you need special permissions on the computer to install the coupon-printing software??? I've tried this at school countless times and am always locked out... are libraries usually different?

Yes. For some reason, I keep asking my husband to come with me. His job in the store is supposed to be keeping our toddler entertained and happy. However, I end up having a lot of conversations about why we can't get $4/lb. meat or chips we don't need, etc. Then I get distracted.

That's my husbands job, too, and they both end up circling me like a hawk and making me loose my focus!

I bought it yesterday. It was the american heros bag w/ the blue foil wrappers w/ white stars. UPC 034000130795

the only other candy I bought in the transaction was 6 double packs dentyne gum and a bag of lifesavers. So total candy purchase was $11.31.

Someone else posted that they bought wrigley's gum and reese's and got that same cat. Maybe it's a candy $ total for it to print?

How do you get the coupons to print at a library? Don't you need special permissions on the computer to install the coupon-printing software??? I've tried this at school countless times and am always locked out... are libraries usually different?

I don't get special permission. If it ask to download the coupon printer I say yes. I assume it saves to a temp file that then gets deleted when I sign out. Usually I print them with no problems. The library I go to is a pretty modern one very near a university. Not sure if that makes a difference or not, but they seem okay. Now, when I go to my local one tomorrow and try it for the first time, I'm not sure what will happen. May have trouble there as we are a small town.

I think the coupon gods & godesses are trying to tell me to skip this one! I went Monday, cashier messed upall of my B1G1 Qs (input the wrong amounts!!) so I left my whole order. Went yesterday, started shopping, looked for a specific Q & realized that I left the coupon wallet w/my Kmart Qs AT HOME!! So I figured I'd buy the Tide Stain Release--the blinkies were right there--every package had a busted gel pac in it & nasty stuff all over the outside!! Gonna try again today!!

If you have the $2/1 youll get the tag free you dont need anything else. I think the PP was thinking that at some stores you can use a $/$ and bogo together but this particular item/coupon will not work at Kmart in that way.
So just use your $2/1 and get it free for the best deal.

Tag 1 $3.99 - $2/1 = FREE
Tag 2 $3.99 - bogo using Tag 1 as the purchased item = FREE

this goes through most everywhere else but not at Kmart. At Kmart it goes through:

Tag 1 $3.99 - $2/1, cashier picks Tag box on screen = FREE
Tag 2 $3.99 - bogo = Error..because it requires 2 to be selected and there is only 1 left to select.

or switched around:

Now that I think of it mine did error. It was an issue but the Cashiers have always entered it in. Not worth the trouble if you have the $2/1. Free is Free but Free without hassles is always better.

I have been buying TAG all week long just fine. For every two items I get I used one $2.00 off any tag coupon and a b1g1f any tag item coupon. Makes it all free and I dont have to use as many of the 2.00 off at one time. I have had them scan the b1g1f first. The buy one get one free does trigger the screen, cashier picks one and it works fine, then there is another one to pick when she/he scans the 2.00 coupon.

update: what a night last night, I went to kmart 45 mins away , when I got there signs all over 10 Coupons Per day!! and NO b1g1...boy was I pissed, i spoke with customer service then asked for manager she asked why told her I traveled all this way , says sorry only 10 i said can i do sepertae transaction said NO ...i was now even madder, finally i found manager on the floor told her I came all this way no one said on phone 10 per day for that i wouldnt have came , she called front desk and told them it was aok to use my coupons and no b1g1, I did have to do 2 transactions , I sure would've done better if i got b1g1, but atleast i got some cheap food compared to my usual shopping trips, and did get a few freebies but small stuff ;) I did get a few other things not on my list spent $105 saved $74, wanted to thank all who helped me ;)
