Meijer: A great trip today!

I must be the only person who shops at Meijer who isn't having all the issues with coupons, etc. So, I thought I should post about my great day at the Saturday Super Sale. Which reminds me...why wasn't there a thread about it? Is it only in the Dayton area?

Anyway, I picked up some things that were on the weekly sale, plus some items from the Saturday sale, a couple of things that are always cheap but the coupons are expiring soon (and I can only use 2 at a time), and a bottle of lighter fluid, because we're out, and we love to grill.

I got:
4 boxes of Jello (.51 each)
4 pouches of Bumblebee tuna ($1 each)
5 Quakes ($1 each)
1 bag of Lays potato chips ($1.89)
1 bag of Tostitos ($1.88)
2 Bob Evans Sausage ($1.89 each)
1 Mini Wheats ($1.99)
2 Cinnamon Toast Crunch ($1.67 each)
1 Honey Nut Cheerios ($1.66)
1 BC fruit rollups ($1.50)
1 lighter fluid ($4.59)

I used:
2 x .50/2 Jello...doubled
4 x $1/1 Bumblebee tuna
5 x $1/1 salty snack WT
1 x $2/2 Lays/Tostitos chips
2 x .25/1 Bob Evans sausage...doubled
1 x $1/1 Kellogg's cereal
1 x B2G1 free GM Cereal
1 x .50/1 BC fruit snack wyb GM cereal
1 x $5/$30 Meijer coupon

With .23 tax, my total was $9.24 :BigHand:

No hassles...no problems!! The cashier said, "You did great!!...See you next week!"

So...am I alone? Or is anyone else still enjoying their Meijer shopping trips?

That was a great trip, and no q issues, really awesome!! :)
I will be hitting Meijer later for a few Saturday sale items (Cincy has one too!!!), I hope all goes well!!

I've really scaled back my shopping period. I'm just too lazy to go do it. So I've been missing out on some good Meijer sales. And it doesn't even bother me!! :omg:

You are NOT alone! I haven't had ANY problems out of Meijer. Usually if it beeps or doesn't go thru it's been MY fault and truely not theirs. No probs with the $5 promo, none with coupons NONE period!!!! One of my fav stores here

Another one to add to great shopping at Meijer ! The few times I've had issues (computer shutting down or cashier error), management has been very apologetic and made it right every time.

Another hassle-free trip this week!! I had 40+ items in my cart, and the only thing I didn't have a coupon for was the milk. My OOP was $15.xx. Some coupons beeped, but the cashier just put them through, chatting with me the whole time. My husband did a small transaction too, since they only double 2 like coupons...4 Jello, 2 Bumblebee Tuna and 2 Fast Shake. His total OOP was 0.00!!! And the cashier loved it!!

I love my Meijers too! I very rarely have any problems(unlike Walmart) and when I do I take a trip to the customer service desk and it gets fixed. :BigHand:
