I ran into some coupon/cashier issues during the last doubles and told myself I didn't want to play with Kmart any more. I ended up calling CS and receiving a call from the Head of Store. He heard me out, and apologized. Being new to the store and unfamiliar with all of his employees, he did inform me there are gaps in training and that he had a lot of work ahead of him.

He then shared how this particular store had been hit with people using copied IP's which translates to $$ the store will not be reimbursed for.

All of that to say...I wonder if my local store will be participating? The CS I received last doubles put a bad taste in my mouth...not sure I want to do this to myself.

I have tried emailing and calling corporate. No one seems to know anything!!:hectic1: My area has only participated once this year (I wasn't couponing at the time so I didn't go). I was told to call the CS # for Sears and speak to them about it (that was what the email directed me to do). I called, no option to just talk to "customer service". I call the 800# for Kmart and they had no information. Sooooo frustrating!!!!!

However, when I emailed and asked about Missouri store, I got a list of which stores were going to be participating and nothing said about only P&G. I wonder if they are just making this up to get us all mad. I emailed them asking if they retracted on the first email they sent me. I have not heard back yet but will post their response when I get it. Also maybe you can print out the first response and argue with them at the store? Between Kmart with the doubles and Sears pulling their junior clothes coupon I am about done with them. I will use my coupons elsewhere!!!!!

I've heard no stores in Washington or Oregon are participating, so that rules this out for me. But, I did check on it for my mother in Georgia & got that ugly P&G only response:

ok .. here is the response I rec'd this morning. According to this email, K-Mart is only doubling P&G coupons :shrug7: ( i posted this in the other thread as well)

I specifically asked her if MA stores were going to participate and she did not answer that.

Did I mention that I hate Sears and all of their holdings? I ONLY shop there when a) there is a great coupon they have not retracted or b) they have doubles... ALL of their stores are nasty, goodwillish, no airconditioning and the people who work there are rude and uninformed about their own policies... they can take their P & G and.... I'll use my coupons at Publix... I've gotten so much free out of that gross place already this year I still haven't put it all away...

I'm going back to Kmart and grabbing all those booklets with $2 off Olay Ribbons. That's about all I remember having that I know is P&G. I didn't even get Brandsaver this month since I forgot to buy the paper.

I went coupon hunting yesterday in the store (since someone suggested it to me) and I didn't find ANY blinkies, booklets, tags, or tearpads. I did find some veet peelies. I took one off and then felt guilty so I put it back :hysterical:.

I had an eye dr's apt at the vision center in walmart later and my eye dr had a pile of manufactures coupons for contact solution. I took some home, only to realize they expired in 2001! UGH!

I guess going to the store specifically to coupon hunt and coming home with expired coupons (by years!) is the equivilant of going hunting in the woods and only coming home with dog poop on your shoe...

Well, since K-Mart is owned by Sears (and we all know how well Sears handled their most recent coupon fiasco), I'm not expecting much. BUT, in an effort to make lemonade out of lemons, if they are only doubling P&G (and I agree - how will it know??:shrug7:), and if you have the "Get the Gear" MIR for the $20 NFL merch cert. with purchase of $25 in P&G products, it could be a MM. Plus, it looks like there is a P&G insert this weekend!

ETA - Nevermind, the "Get the Gear" is only at participating stores. Called the 888# and K-mart is not included. Well, there are still cpns!
