I have the paper ad, and there are a few shelf prices that are different: Pepperidge Farms Goldfish are 4/$8; the Campbell's Select, microwave bowls, and chunky soups are all 4/$8.60; and Prego is 2/$4.30.

Here are a couple possible scenarios:

Buy 20 tomato or chicken noodle soups @ 20/$10 (total shelf price = $15)
Use $1 on 2 printable coupon (http://promotion.familytime.com/cscc/default.asp) or $.40 on 4 coupon from 9/13 insert
Depending on the combination of coupons you use, you would pay anywhere from $0 to $8 out of pocket.
Get back a coupon for $5 off your next order, making your final cost anywhere from a profit of $5 to a cost of $3. (Even with a cost of $3, it's still only $.15/can, which is still pretty good!)

Buy 7 microwave soup bowls @ 4/$5 (total shelf price = $15.05)
Use 3 $1 on 2 coupon from 8/30 insert
Pay $5.75 after coupons and get back a $5 coupon
Final cost = $.75/7, or $.11 each

I just got back from Jewel. I tried to do this deal and ran into some problems.

My first transaction I bought:
2 Goldfish bags 4.00/2 shelf, 2.50/2 preferred savings
4 microwave bowls, Chunky kind (chicken noodle and chicken and dumplings) 8.80/4 shelf, 5.00/4 preferred savings
4 cans of chicken noodle 3.00/4 shelf, 2/4 preferred savings
I used $1.00 off microwave bowls coupon
and $0.40 off 4 chicken noodle coupon
Total before preferred savings was 15.47, total after coupons and ps was around $8.50 including tax.
The catalina machine should have spit out a $5.00 off coupon, but it didn't. I already had my second transaction items on the belt, so I didn't say anything then.

My second transaction I bought:
2 V8 splash 3.95 each shelf 2/$4 preferred savings
4 cans of Select Harvest 1.95 each shelf, 4/$5 preferred savings.
I used $1.00 off 2 V8 and two 0.50 off Select Harvest coupons.
I paid 7.36 including tax. If I had the $5.00 catalina, it would have been only $2.36 oop. I got the $5.00 catalina for this transaction.

I went to the customer service and got a very nice person. She agreed that I should have got the catalina on the first transaction. She also agreed that it should be $15 worth of products before the preferred savings. So, she went over to an empty cash and scanned items until she got it to total over $15 and gave me the catalina that came out. So, I got the $5 for the first transaction, just not in time to use it for the second transaction.

The catalina machine also spit out $1.25 off 5 Select Harvest cans and two $2.00 off any 4 Select Harvest, Chunky or Campbells Classic Microwavable bowls. I'm not sure which transactions caused which coupons to come out. But, make sure to watch for them! I'm going to go back and use the two $2.00 off 4 coupons. If I get 8 microwavable bowls, it should be $6.00 after preferred savings and coupons and I should get a $5.00 catalina back.

Sorry this was long, but just a warning that not all the microwavable bowls that are marked 4/$5 may work for the buy $15 get $5 promo. I'm going to try the ones that aren't Chunky next time.

One more thing, I'm not sure the $1 off 2 "cooking soups" printable coupons will work. Some Campbells soups are labelled "Great for Cooking" and the soups in this promo (including the tomato) aren't labelled "Great for Cooking". I'm not sure if the tomato would be considered a cooking soup.

I went this morning and tried to buy 8 Chunky microwavable bowls. I tried buying 6 sirloin burger and 2 chicken noodle. I didn't get a catalina. I went to customer service and she looked at the list of items that are included in the promo. She found that the sirloin burger ones are not included, but the chicken noodle ones are.

If they have a list at your store, you may want to see if they are willing to give you a copy. That way you know before you check out if a variety is included. It can be less of a headache. Getting copies of the lists are a YMMV thing. Sometimes I was able to get a copy and sometimes I wasn't.

Campbell's website lists tomato as a "great for cooking" soup.
