I went to giant eagle again this morning and bought 40 more Knorr side dishes-cost $16 with coupons, but got $30 in Steeler bucks. I also bought more Ragu and wish bone dressing for $20 more in Steeler bucks, so $50 total. I also picked up 4 more Marcal facial tissues for 25 cents a box, 5 Playtex tampons, trial size for free, 13 Lysol toilet bowl clips for 50 cents each with 75 cent coupons and got (2) $2 off coupons on your next order. Not too bad. Sorry don't have pictures.

Unfortunately lately I don't have any GE orders to brag about. The last sale that was brag worthy to me was the mr clean/swiffer. In multiple transactions after coupons and rebates I ended up with 40 Mr. Clean and 28 Swiffer refills for $18.75

The 50% off price was $4.99. I had a $5 Q from Buzz Agent I believe... The Clip was $4.49 and I had a $4 Q. My store still had tons of refills left so I am hoping they hit 75% off.

I'm not Sandy, but there was a display at my store marked 4.99 (just the scented oil ones) But the shelf wasn't marked - so I was afraid to buy these the other day thinking the tag had been left up mistakenly.... Maybe I'll have to check that out again this morning LOL There are 4$ coupons for them, so only 99 cents after coupon

I'm not as amazing as the rest of you all. But I thought I did alright. Some of my coupons aren't as great as you alls.

10 Betty Crocker potato pouches $8.90 (90c after coupons)
2 Bird's Eye Freshlike $2.00 ($1 after coupons)
10 Bird's Eye Steamfresh $10.00 (free after coupons)
5 Kraft cheese slices $8.32 (no coupons but a need for school lunches)
2 Pillsbury Jr Grands! $ 2 ($1 after $1/2 coupon)
2 doz Giant Eagle eggs $1.76
Ideal sweetener packets $5.58 (40c after coupons)
Kraft shredded parmesan $4.39 ($3.39 after coupon)
1 Barilla pasta $1 (free after $1 off wyb kraft parm)
6 Barilla pasta $6 ($3 after coupons)
Blue Bonnet marg $1 (no coupon, just ran out)
Also used the $5/$50 GE coupon.
Spent $16.99 OOP and saved $30.18 in coupons and bonus coupons. Says I only saved 70% but the cheese didn't ring up X price and sale price in parentheses, I rang up $1.67, $1.66, $1.66- so my savings was probably higher.
I am major jealous that we don't have some form or B&G Bucks here!

I finally did my big trip to GE today. My subtotal was 200-ish. I got it down to $104 after q's and got a $5 B&G buck, a $5 cat, $2 cat, and 70 bonus boxtops. That order included lunchmeat, a can of crabmeat, a pound of shrimp, a case of water, and also stuff to make eggrolls. I was very happy with my final total!

I dont have pics either...but the other day we went and bought about $60 worth of groceries for $7. It was a BLAST!

And, for my "Brag"...I shop strictly at the GE in Cuyahoga Falls on Graham Rd. They are the NICEST ppl starting at the cashiers...all the way up to management. They NEVER give me a hard time about coupons...and one of the managers was helping me, and she had to manually add in about 10 cps...and I apologized to her for all the work involved..and she said: "oh, dont worry about it, I dont have the time to do cps...so I love watching other ppl save!".
What a nice place to shop!!

I'm game and may I share my mentalness too in that I woke up or was it falling asleep remembering I forgot to subtract a certain amount from my total. The amount is small so I am not going to redo my picture for a third time. lol

Not pictured 2 Purex 9 Loads and a bottle of Rice Vinegar.

I did not include the "store savings" since the prices are inflated and I wouldn't pay those prices even before I started couponing. Also the coupon total included a total of $7 of Catalinas used.

I am in AWE of you all. I hope I can get great deals like this some day. I'm in an apartment with roommates, so stockpiling is out of the question. A girl can dream though...

Had a couple of great trips.

I did the ore-ida deal once. Thinking about doing it again. I set up all my friends with coupons for the ore-idas. May do one more myself...hmmm.

Did the ketchup twice with coupons - was a $3 mm until I take off the cost of the coupons I bought - but it was still way less than the $12 oop after the cat with no coups. We ALWAYS run out of ketchup here - and being in the city that Heinz is in you would think we had coupons here - I rarely see ketchup ones.

Last sale I got 42 boxes of cinnabons for .17 a box. Well my kids are not big fans unless they are warmed up. I am putting them in teacher gift bags with coffee stuff and oatmeal packets - things they can eat at work. BUT we did find that cutting them up and using to make ice cream "shooters" (little sundaes) is a big hit with the teen crowd. And the football team likes them - but again they eat ANYTHING.

Here are a few of my runs to GE for this weeks sale:

16 pouches of betty crocker potatoes .89 less .40 coupon doubled cost .09 each
Yoplait yogurt 20/10.00 less three coupons for .40 off six doubled to .80 each PLUS got back two free cups of yogurt next time ($2 value)
Pillsbury cinnamon rolls 2.00 each less .50 off two double to 1.00 got 4
Pillsbury crescent rolls same price as cinnamon rolls – PLUS GOT $4 off my next visit for buying 8
American cheese 5.79 for 1.25 pounds less 1.00 coupon
Boxed scalloped potatoes 8/10 got two had coupons for .25 off each doubled to .50 off
Spinach 1.84 less .55 coupon doubled
Salad 1.84 less .55 coupon doubled
Bologna from deli 1.64
Round steak marked down to 1.02 after meat dept coupon
Tortillas 1.50 each 1 pkg
Beef gravy 3 jars 1.25 each less 1.00 off coupon on three
Ekrich smoked kielbassi – five packs at 2.24 less .55 coupon doubled to 1.10 on each
Crisco shortening x 2 at 5.25 each less 4.00 coupon on each

Total was $10.31 with my debit card got back 6 in cats

Then I got ketchup grapes and buns and paid 9.85 got 8 off my next visit.

Are the Cinnabons on sale this week? I looked through the flyer and didn't see them.

Where did you get your crisco and ketchup coupons? I never see ketchup coupons for Heinz.

I have been doing reading/planning/working on my couponing technique for 2 weeks and I think this is the best I have done so far:

Today I got
10 Heinz ketchup
14 steamfresh
2 duncan heinz items
4 skippy naturals

Paid $17 but got the $8 oyno from heinz, 2/$1 oyno from skippy, and $5 steeler bucks!

I think i was supposed to get 3/$5 steeler bucks since i bought 18 quailifing items (steamfresh & skippy)...so i'm thinking about going back tomorrow and talking to customer service. i'm a little nervous though cause as i said i'm new to this! Any thoughts????

Wow, I was feeling good til I saw csthedays post! Argh, how did you figure out that deal!

Thank you!! I had help with an $8 CAT from fries last week, plus the veggies and freshpets were completely free with Q's which really helped  The rest were all CAT or free wyb deals (pans - eggs)...well except the silk ,bread & tea which I needed to reach my fuelperk discount.

So glad you got your ketchup too!!

Had a super trip to GE today (other than it being WAY to busy and me feeling quite overwhelmed with it all LOL)

Walked in and found out it was their Trick or Treat Scavenger hunt! woot! But I was bummed because the kids weren't in costume, and my oldest was at home and it was almost over - but they just gave me an extra basket for my oldest so we could get him goodies too :-) Um, yeah - now I know why my store never had the free trick or treat basket for buying 3 Kellogg's products - they used them for the scavenger hunt! LOL The kids got to keep them, so I guess that's better than having to actually 'buy' kellogg's to get them hehe

Here's my run:
27 Starkist Sandwich Ready Tuna Salad 1.50 - 75c mq (regional-had to order it) = FREE
4 Starkist Tuna Pouches 1$ - 50c IP = FREE
8 Freshpet Select Homestyle dog food 1.99 - Free mq = FREE
10 BC Pumpkin cookie mix 1$ - 40c mq = 20c each

Bread 1.19
Milk 3.08
-8$ oyno cat fries last week

Cashier say "Man, you know how to shop!" and then turns to the lady behind me and started raving about my total.... The lady behind was in awe and asked me to come shop for her LOL I love those kind of shopping trips :-)

Thats Awesome... Was there a deal on the Reeses pieces?

I traded for some insert coupons a while back - .55/1 any Reese's (they exp 10/31, used the last of mine tonite). The theater boxes are 1.00 each, so free :-)

We would have 25 boxes here, but 2 have been ate. We live in the boonies, so I don't get alot of trick-or-treaters. I have 20 candy bags made - told my other half if I run out, I can pass out the Reeses Pieces....lmao, guess that won't be allowed - he said "a whole box - no way, blah blah" (the pig just wants them all for himself)

Also, I have some of the Wonka tearpads coming - 1.00/1 concession box or peg bag (exp 12/31). The theater boxes of nerds, runts, gobstoppers that are also 1.00 each, so more free goodies :-)

Heck yeah - I love me some Reeses Pieces - big pig thinks they are all for him, ha! Between these & the wonka candy, I will be able to supply our group of young ladies going to New Moon in a couple weeks with free sweets (verses how much for a box at the movies, ugh) !!

Oh yeah - if you have any of the Hershey's peelies (.25/1, .55/1, .75/1 - exp 6/30/10), more free/cheap candy. Does GE still mark their candy half price on Halloween or the day after?

Total before coupons $99.xx
My cashier had asked me to guess what my total was going to be for the 2nd transaction after I told him the first one was going to be 0.00 (5 BE veggies)....so I said between 15-20$. When I saw the 99.xx bc total, I was worried I was going to be closer to 30$ though....

Total after coupon = $18.58

I shocked him and the lady behind me :-) As I was walking out of the lane, the lady behind me says to the cashier "Here's my one lonely coupon" lol

I had a big week! This was the first time I had ever ordered coupons, and I don't know why I was such a big dork and nervous about using them. I think I did really good this week, and I got soooo much stuff! (Good thing becaue next week dones't look very good!)

Transaction #1 (This was at a different GE since they take the SS IPs and my normal GE doesn't):
3 Triscuits (These and the Wheat Thins will go towards the rebate)
2 Wheat Thins
4 Melitta Coffee Filters (I was so happy to find these on sale, because I had printed SS IPs for them a while ago that were about to expire that I didn't think I would be able to use)
2 Swiss Miss
2 Parkay
1 Pam Spray
1 Reddi Wip
3 BC Cake Mix
1 BC Frosting
1 Cookie Sheet (Free with BC deal)
2 Nature's Pride Bread (Free after Q's)
Robitussin
2 Libby's Canned Veggies (Free after Q)
15 Birds Eye Veggies (Free after Q's)
Total OOP: $14.53
Card and Q savings: $67.96
I also got $3 OYNO and $2 off eggs cats.

Transaction #2:
1 Marcal Napkins (Free after Q)
1 Ziploc bags (Will go towards the rebate)
1 BC Frosting
1 Diet Pepsi Cube
1 Big bag o' Cat food (This killed my total, but it was 10c off and my cats need to eat!)
16 BE Veggies (Free after Q's)
2 Kraft Shredded Cheese (Didn't have Q's but I need cheese for this week's meals)
2 BC Cake Mix
1 Cheeze It
2 Jello Pudding
4 Jello Gelatin
2 Goldfish Crackers
1 Ketchup (Again, no Q, but my son will flip if he doesn't have ketchup)
1 Progresso Broth (had to get a RC since I grabbed the last one)
1 OJ
3 1/2 gals of milk (it was cheaper to buy 1/2 gals than 1 gals this week)
Sweet potatoes
1- pkg mushrooms
1 Cookie Sheet (Free with BC deal)
Total OOP: $41.90
Card and Q savings: $51.74
I also got $2 off eggs cat.

Transaction #3:
2 Triscuits (These and the wheat thins will go towards the rebate)
3 Wheat Thins
4 BC Brownie Mix
1 Cake Pan (Free with BC deal)
Total OOP: $8.00
Card and Q savings: $19.94
I also got $2 off eggs cat.

So for the week, OOP: $64.43 and Total savings: $139.64 (68%)
Not bad considering my precouponing days I would spend $100, save $20 and be happy with that! My my, how things change!!

Wow was it crazy at GE today. I don't have an itemized list of everything, but I bought 137 items. Original price would have been 212.36, I paid 96.41 OOP and got 3 Steeler bucks and four 5 OYNO and one 2 egg cat. Pretty good shopping today. I was bummed thought that I couldn't find the energizer batteries anywhere or Marcal napkins.

UPDATE... I figured I would list some of the good deals that came with my orders. I did 4 different transactions.

1. 4 Febreze
1 Birds eye (had to get the Steeler bucks)
2 ICBINB sticks
I used (4) $1 Febreze coupons and $1 Bird's eye coupon and (2) $1 ICBINB coupons.
OOP 10.60, but got $5 OYNO and $2 OYNO and Steeler bucks

2. 4 Dawn Hand renewal
used (4) 50 c. coupons and $5 OYNO
OOP 1.48 and got 5 OYNO

3. 4 Febreze
1 Birds eye
used (4) Febreze coupons and $5 OYNO
OOP 1.60 and got $5 OYNO pluse Steeler bucks

4. Very big, but some highlights were:
48 Purine chewy treats
10 Hefty plates
4 BC icing
3 more Febreze
Baking items, diapers, wipes
used (12) $4 Purina coupons, 10 Hefty 50c coupons, (4) .50 BC icing, (3) $1 FEbreze and lots of other stuff with coupons too, but too long to list. Used $5 OYNO, (2) $2 Egg cats, $5 off GE coupon by mail, and a $2 OYNO
OOP 82.72, got another $5 on your next order, $2 egg cat and steeler bucks.

I like seeing when a total goes from over $170 down to 82.
OOP 82.73

I spent $14 today on a quick trip (my doc was supposed to have called in a script, but I think there was a disconnect between him and their VM).
I got
3 Bags of Purina One cat food
2 boxes Cheese Nips (kids don't like Wheat Thins)
1 box Wheat Thins (husbands)
2 Birds Eye
4 Dawn
1 Mr Clean spray
3 Febreeze air effects
1 Kraft shredded cheese
1 Kraft block cheese

I still have my 2 $5 OYNO left to take to the store in the afternoon.
Cat has food for quite a while too (George likey the Purina One so far).
I was pretty proud that I got as much as I did for so little in so much pain! (Doc thinks I ripped a muscle or cracked a rib with the coughing I had going on through this bronchitis)
So, I'll be getting all of my other fun stuff in the afternoon, yay!

Picked up some vitamin supplements and a poster board last night. I've never ever paid for something with just a dime before. It. Was. Awesome.

Ok - not a brag about 'a' trip - but a brag about this year:

Total spent OOP at GE: $3931.39
Total Saved at GE: $7330.05
65.09% Savings
Average weekly cost (OOP/52) = 75.06 for a family of 5...plus donations...plus goodies for family and friends...plus enough stuff to last us through the apocalypse if so needed LOL

Seriously though - my new big chest freezer is PACKED, my pantry is PACKED, my fridge is PACKED, and even my old chest freezer is now serving as storage for small steps napkins! hehe I love it!

total savings this year for the major stores (Rite Aid, Ge, Target, Walmart, a little of Wags and CVS) about 70% or over $16,000!!! Total OOP this year was a little over $6,500.00. I'm freakin amazed! I didn't figure in a few stores - or gas, or mail-in rebates though. This year I'm going to try to keep better track of everything we spend - but I've just been keeping all my receipts organized by month and today sat down and got caught up on entering everything into my spreadsheet. I'm sure it's not perfect - but pretty darn close :-)

Neekyme thats awesome. I don't keep track anymore because I pick up so much stuff for other people. It got to be too much of a pain just to keep track of my own.

Well, I am doing just the opposite ...

I do not have to keep track of my savings because after 100+ years of using coupons I know when something is a money saving good deal.

+

Less time keeping track of the savings means only one thing ...

More time to save while shopping!!!

Hello, when you calculate your savings, are you including the GE savings from store sales plus the coupons, or only the coupons? Are you including Cats (OYNO amounts)? I just started couponing and have started to do this year to see if it is worth it but I was not including the store sales, only coupons and cats.
