This thread ROCKS!!!

I suggest going to the store and just browsing there are some good deal & coupons to be had!

The Yakisoba bowls are .99 so free w/ .50 q.

Free haagen dazs minis w/ the tearpad q's.

Cheap Ben & Jerry's $2.50-$1 tearpad=$1.50

Depending on what coupon you have semi-cheap pampers $8.99 (if they're still this price) mius EQ 1+2 Q= 5.99

Cheap beech-nut baby food! the 2s are 5/$2 & some are on closeout for .34. Super cheap w/ the IP of $1/8 or $2/16 Q. Oh and I think u get some $ from Upromise

MM w/ Knorr!!! Remember that loadable EQs from Unilever Unilever Kroger eCoupons (http://www.softcoin.com/Sites/Unilever_MoreValue/Page/HomePage)? Well, I loaded all & forgot about it. Yesterday, I bought tomato-chicken bouillon (regularly priced) .89 & w/ the .45 any knorr except minicubes Q it was free! To my surprise an EQ came off! It was .50 off any Knorr dry soup, buillon, or gravy product. The .45 coupon can be printed online too https://secure.vivemejor.com/Coupon.aspx?NavID=222&CultureCode=en-US. You can also buy Knorr dry soups they are 3/$2.

As for the Knorr sides, I just realized a slight money maker!!! Buy 4 Knorr sides for $4 use 4 of the .45 qs.

If your store doubles only 3 then it would be $4-(3.15)=.85-1EQ=-.15

If If your store doubles only 4 then it would be $4-(3.60)=.40-1EQ=-.60

Finally, Wonder bread is priced 1.59 or 1.69 can't remember. There is a Shorcut Q for .55 & there is also a printable coupon for .55 http://bricks.coupons.com/Start.asp? tqnm=qiaubxp45736218&bt=vi&o=58528&c=IB&p=WOkyE1Kh

HTH!!!

Nestle Quick syrups are $1.69. There was a $0.50 Q in All You (June, I think), making it $0.69!

Also Huggies Diapers and Pull Ups are $8.99 through 9/30. Pretty cheap diapers when you use a paper Q along with the loadable from shortcuts!

I changed the title of the thread so that we can do this weekly without starting a new thread each time, cluttering up the forum. Just so there is no confusion maybe we could put the sales week date at the beginning of our post.

Cheap Lysol cleaners with the Q's from 9/13 (I think - the week we had 5 inserts!). The Multi-surface cleaner is $1.77, so 77¢ after the Q. Also, on lysol.com there are printables, toilet bowl cleaner is $1.49, so 49¢ after the 50¢ IP.

Reynolds Aluminum Foil 30 ft is $1.59 at my store, so 69¢ after the 30¢ Q (also from 9/13, I think).

I bought some (for the first time) a while back and put them in the freezer (Buitoni) ... haven't used yet, actually intended to give them to my sis but haven't seen her in a couple months ... hope I didn't get them for free for nothing (weren't supposed to be free ... but young cashier took full price off, even after I told him it said "up to $x.xx" ... I liked his thinking, he said, "FREE means FREE as far as I'm concerned!!")

(I think most homemade cookie dough you can freeze for about 6 months. And you can freeze pie crust, so I figured I could freeze that too.)

thanks zm! i'm trying to work out a mega even scenerio w/an extremely low OOP. trying to cut back even further on our grocery spending.

OT, the colgate is either a MM or a dirty cheapy this week. the ad just says colgate toothpaste. the toothbrushes are specific but not the toothpaste, anyone know? I mean there are quite a few colgate q's in the data base but most are specific to a certain variety. any help would be much appreciated!

I was able to get the Lysol Disinfected Wipes they had a bogo set on the shelf with the single ones for $3.29 and I had a $1.00 off Q so for 2 big canisters of wipes 80 each I paid $2.29. My Kroger also had Aqua juice on clearance for $.79 a bottle not sure if all of the Kroger's are doing that. Looks like they are not going to carry it anymore.

You picked the wrong cashier :whistle67:

yea ... I remember my sis and I loading up on tubes of icing off the clearance table, several months ago, and using Qs ... but that was earlier in the day and more cashiers ...
... for some reason, there were only 1-2 cashiers + self-serve, and I think it was only about 9pm ... come to think of it.

oh well, just figured if that's the way she wanted to be, they could end up throwing away the gum before I brought it home without using Qs! ... especially since I can't even chew gum and was buying for DH to take to work for the guys. I was even going to pay 66¢ for 2 packages (with BOGO Q) ... golly gee!

Question for you folks getting the Dentyne that's BOGO for free ... my brain is fried right now, so please give details including what order give shopping card and Qs. I know how to do it at WAG with their ad Q (give my Qs, then their Qs), but my brain isn't wrapping around how to do it at Kroger.

No particular order, I always give my card first and coupons at the end. Occasionally a cashier will ask for my coupons before/while they are scanning items but still scan them at the end and scan the card at the beginning. I haven't had any problems using them, they beep asking for the price to be entered.

Domino was $2.69 at my store for the 4 lb bag. I don't think my store carries the C&H in regular sugar (they do have the powdered & brown sugars, but for some reason not granulated; so I don't know the price of that one).

My Kroger has the Domino granulated sugar in the 2 pound box for 1.99. I bought some the other day. In my store, it's on the top shelf rather than on the bottom with the rest of the sugars. I've only seen the C&H in the powdered and brown sugars as well. Hope that helps!

You would think I would know the right name but I can't remember! They were these minute maid lemonde/cherry limeade cups that were $1 and w/ the $1 Minute Maid novelty they were free. I wouldn't worry since this coupons come out a couple of times and Kroger has had the MM sale a couple of times. this time I was prepared and got over 20 boxes.

Btw...my hubby has said more than once that I suck at tetris which is why he's in charge of organizing the fridge.:hysterical:

Now...if only I could get free formula/baby food!!! My daughter (7 mths.) loves to eat!!!

is there a certain brand you use? I saw comforts lactose free on clearance for $4 the other day, only $1 w/the coupon. Also ran into earths best organic soy formula for $4 something on markdown.

I don't feed formula but always happen upon it in the clearance sections:smile:

Off topic but can I take the Tony's pizza out of the cardboard and stack them? I seem to be playing tetris also between the minute maid cups, pizza rolls and tony's. I was thinking of putting the cups in a square container but, don't know if that would actually make more room?

We are only a household of 3 but I can't let freebies go by!

Not going to try to type ad tonight, but looked on Kroger site ... whole first page is "10-fers = $1-fers" ... fortunately(?) for some, looks like its boxed/canned goods!

PS ... Have an upright freezer and freezers on two fridges ... still NOT enough room ... told DH years ago I needed a restaurant sized kitchen, pantry, freezer ... still waiting for it! Don't even have room to freeze extra loaves of bread, have to store in one of the refrigerators.

Sitting here reading that ... some folks would love to have my problems, guess I best quit griping and be thankful ... may not be financially comfortable, but sure won't be going hungry!

Will try to work on the ad, but the mean boss gave me a project to work on, so might be late

I did go yesterday and there is a new cat deal for buy 3 ziploc get a $2 oynso
The sandwich bags are $2.19 and we have .40 coupons. I needed sandwich bags so I got 3 @ 2.19 - 3 .40 coupons = $4.17 and earned a $2 oynso and will mail in for the Sc Johnson rebate for $5 back, woo hoo! $2.39 profit after stamp.

Also, the Dial complete foaming soap is on sale for $1.50 and I bought 3 using the .35 Dial soap coupons and got back a $2.50 off any cold/cough purchase catalina that does not expire until January!

I found them on a cardboard display with Pumpkin Pie spice Jello pudding on it- it's a small 8X5 ish? booklet and it says "$4.50 in savings" right on the front. There is a single page of coupons on the back page, $1.50/2 Ziploc containers, $1.25/3 Jello, Baker's chocolate or Philly, $1/3 Dole canned fruit, and .75/1 International delight coffee.

Totinos NOT on sale

And I found Calendars on the customer service counter that have coupons in them. Left them out in my car, but one I did notice was .50 off ziploc, which makes the catalina deal I posted about even better!

Also noticed the store has the Grands jrs everyday priced at .99 and when you buy 3 you get a $2 catalina. Right near the Pillsbury are $1/3 blinkies so they would be free with catalina. The cat deal goes until 11-18 so plenty of time to stock up.

Don't know if anyone saw this in the ad, but have a great deal at Kroger. Nature Valley Granola bars and Nut Clusters are on sale at 4 for $10. When you buy 4 you automatically get $4 off so it brings it down to 4 for $6. Then if you have your MQ's for 1.00 off Nut Clusters (coupons.com) and use four of them it brings them down to 4 for $2.00 or .50 a piece. There are also loadable coupons for nut clusters and bars on Shortcuts and cellfire. Some people may even have their $1.60 coupons left over for nut clusters so that will make it an even better deal. :whistle67:(Regular price is 3.79 for the nut clusters)

This deal is also good on Post Honey Bunches of Oats. 4 for $10 and you get the $4 off so it brings it down to 4 for $6. Go to ********.com and enter in Honey Bunch of Oats and it will come up with a $2 coupon off one box. Use three $2 coupons and you will get them free and I even got a bonus when a $3 oyno catalina printed out so it is a money maker. :BigHand:

what do you do with all that baby oil?
i had 3 kids and never used it.
and i had oily skin & would never bath with it.

1. Shave with baby oil instead of shave gel
2. Unstick zippers by using baby oil and cotton swab
3. If a price sticker doesn't peel off as easily as it should, dab a little oil on said offending sticker, let soak into the sticker then wipe clean with a soft cloth.
4. Rub on skin near bandaids to remove without hurting skin
5. Baby oil will remove paint from your skin(or your toddler :)
6. Use to quiet squeaky door hinges if you run out of WD40

I use it for alot of the things the PP does too- it's really just mineral oil, so it's a perfumed household oil that can be used for more than just squeaky doors, if you are a handy-type diy person, or know someone who is. :wink7:

Also, even if you have oily skin, it's really handy when you get cracked or even just dry feet, soak in warm water with a little oil and pat dry to do your own pedicure or manicure.

Baby Baby Product Peelies: Keep your eyes peeled for the $1/1 peelies for comfort brand Kroger baby products, which you can use to get free baby oil, inexpensive baby lotion (.37), inexpensive q-tips (.37 for a 180 ct. box last I checked) and some other items. They expire 12/31/09. I have seen these peelies this spring and summer but they are popping up again I think as the older stock is getting pushed to the front.

Baby oil makes great deep conditioner for your hair and you can even use it to make homemade wet wipes, add it to lotion that doesn't moisturize enough among a jillion other things.

I thought I read elsewhere that you just buy 4 because you only need $10 from the regular price.

so if they are 3.29, buy 4= 13.16
but they are 1.88 sale price, so it's 7.52 minus the four 75¢ coupons= 4.52 and get the $5 cat.

I'm gonna have to try this today.

I believe the deal is if you buy $10.00 you get a 2.00 cat and if you buy $20.00 you get the 5.00 cat. I think also that the reg price is 3.49, instead of 3.29, may want to check your store and make sure.

so 3.49 * 6 = 20.94, which is what prompts the 5.00 cat

Well, don't know how "good" of a deal it is, but I can think of two options:
Hunt's pasta sauce 12-16oz this week, $1 (no Qs that I know of)

Ragu (probably about same oz) ... isn't on sale this week, but think reg. price is about $1.6x, maybe less/more? ... According to database, there were Qs for it in the 11-15 inserts, and there was MQ for it in the Fiesta "Holidays" booklet (haven't been by Fiesta lately, but if they don't have the booklets, walk the aisle and get a few Qs from the little clear plastic hanging "envelopes") ... think their Q was either $0.50 or $0.35 (which doubles or triples at Kroger) -- would make the Ragu less than $1 each.

I don't know much about pasta sauces (seldom cook it), but might check database for brands you know and see what Qs you might have!

2 kids suave body washes 1.69 each
1 regular body wash 1.69

looks like
1.69*2= 3.38-.50q-.50q = 1.38
1.69-B2G1 q = -.31 (register automatically deducts it at $2)
= 1.17 for 3 body washes or .39cents each

Well, apparently you brought computer! and hopefully a printer ... may need to supplement the paper Qs with IPs until ya get your Qpile stocked!

Okay ... another piece of advice (for Kroger) -- go to the http://www.hotcouponworld.com/forums/kroger-texas-louisiana/286821-new-improved-kroger-tx-la-double-triple-store-directory.html

and see if a store near you is listed yet, so you know how many Qs they'll take, etc. Then figure out which you want to shop in!

My personal experience is that the Q-friendly (3 d/t) Krogers are easier to shop deals in than other stores ... they have a pretty standard sales ad across the area, unlike some of the other stores (apparently HEB and some others have a different ad for "every" store:rolleyes24:, makes it hard to post the ads).

Will pm you.

For real? ... oops, guess I definitely better drag myself outta bed weekend mornings now ... everybody's gonna want "my" 99¢ papers now!
They just went to $1.75 earlier this year, didn't they? ... Until this month, the paper's been so thin (including sales ads) I personally didn't think it was worth the 99¢ except for "buying" the inserts that are illegal to sale ... yet, if someone takes them out of the paper, stores get mad -- still haven't figured out WHY they put the inserts in the paper instead of just providing the inserts for folks ... one of life's many mysteries, I suppose.

Out of curiosity, I wonder just how many fewer papers are bought when there aren't inserts in them ... bet it drops a LOT.

I finally found new ones today, had 12/12's inserts ... at some stores, there WERE inserts; at other stores, no inserts :shrug7:(I was born blonde, so I'm gonna say this), the folks there must be dizzy blondes on the delivery dates and inserts out here ... I swear they're trying to drive me to drink (and I already know I'm NOT good at drinking:hysterical:, so this would NOT be a good thing!) ... either that, or they're just trying to see how much it's gonna take to really get me mad (another NOT good thing). --- oh well, at least it's free (sure wouldn't pay for this aggravation), although for all the gas/time I've wasted looking for it, they owe me money!

Mesquite and Rowlett both have Star papers for $0.50, too. I usually get the Mesquite version. They come out on Thursday each week. They don't always have everthing in them, like the GM inserts, but for the price difference...

I've checked. It's almost like the delivery man skips the boxes in my area on Sunday. I've found one box that hasn't been visited in a month.

If I want to buy papers, I have to buy them from convenience stores or drugstores early on Saturday. But this week, I will be checking the 99 cent store!

I saw the Adolphus Latin Rice was priced @ $1 again at my Kroger. I also noticed there was a Q in 12-13SS for .75/1 but I didn't get this one in my insert here so I guess if u were lucky to get this Q or can trade for it u'd have some cheap rice again. I'm on the hunt for the Q's :)

.99 ~2-lb box of homemade fudge on clearance (includes choc chips, evap milk & marshmallows - Carnation I think)

.50 Canned Libby's Vegetables , .50 IP, FREE!

There are too many kinds to mention, I just keep clipping every yogurt coupon in site and keep buying They freeze well. (Yogurt is also easy and fun to make for those of you yogurt lovers who made comments on previous pages. I bet there's a recipe for Greek yogurt, hopefully not involving goat milk as an ingredient)?

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to clarify that the home mailer is a KROGER COUPON which would NOT be equivalent to using 2 manufacturer's coupons.

The coupons that Kroger sends out are Manufacture coupon, if you look on the back they have a redemption PO Box address. Even though it has 'kroger' written on the coupon it is still a manufacture coupon, meaning you cant use 2 coupons on 1 product.
The only coupons that are not manufacture coupons that Kroger send out are 1.50/10 worth or Soft Drink Products, $2/$10 worth of Dairy products, $2/$10 worth of Frozen food Products, etc.

Wouldn't they be 1.50 each?

Also, I believe there was a coupon in Jan. All You for Peter Pan... B2G1F

So.... buy 3

2.00 * 3 = 6.00 - (.50/2 doubled) 1.00 - 2.00 = 3.00/3

Then, it's 1.00 each.

Edited to add:

I just pulled the All You coupon... it is good for 16.3 oz or larger sizes of Peter Pan.

Does anyone know the size of the jar that's on sale? Would be nice to use this combination if it's allowed.
