If I purchase three seperate items that generate $6.00 total in ECB would I be able to purchase something for $5.99 in the same order?

Would I have to purchase a filler item for .25?

If I am understanding you right, your trying to spend the ECB in the same transaction? In that case you would need to do another transaction after those ECB print. You don't need a penny filler at CVS as they will mark the ECB down to 5.99 for you. Your ECB at CVS are only good on the subtotal and the cashiers here are great at letting you know what the subtotal is. Hope this helps.

Newbie looking to get clear on the policy so if I am to understand the ECB system
after you purchase your items the ECB dollars will post at the bottom of the receipt and from there I make another purchase using the ECB just earned correct?
