Ok I think I am going to unsubscribe to the Peoria Paper because the coupons they give you are awful .
I can't find any other paper here either .
So for those who live in my area and I know there are some .
What source do you use to get coupons ?
Do you buy a different paper?
Buy off ebay ?
Buy from another coupon service ?

Just wondering

My newspaper sucks too. I'm in the QC area and there weren't many good coupons today. It seems like all the coupons I got this week were already out 2 weeks ago because I see the same coupons on Ebay.

I live in southeast Illinois and our local IGA sells the Chicago Tribune. It has really good coupon inserts, the best I've found anywhere. On good coupon Sundays, I buy two copies.

The tribune used to be sold at the Krogers on route 40. I have been printing most of my coupons. The Peoria paper really hasn't had any good coupons in over a year.

Where are you getting the tribune in the Peoria area?

I live in Mackinaw btw, just curious where everyone else is.

I got good q's from the decatur paper last week. Had both smart source and red plum. The previous week it had all three inserts. It is $1.75 though. Hubby got three papers from the trash at work for me. :) I picked up a couple of Effingham papers over the weekend, they had the $3 snuggle and the paper was only .50. The inserts were varied from each paper.

Hi all!
I live in Eureka, work in Peoria and here's what I know about our papers in the area...

Peoria Journal Star carries: Red Plum & Proctor & Gamble

The Pantagraph (produced in Bloomington/Normal area) carries: Smart Source & Red Plum. (These are sold at my IGA and I would imagine that they're sold at other IGAs. $1.75) Also sold at Morton Fast & Fresh (gas station I think), Casey's General Stores in Washington, Tremont & Mackinaw & some Woodford Co. locations
IGA is a grocery store that, locally, is mostly in the Woodford County area. Check their website for more locations. IGA.com

I think you can buy the Chicago Tribune somewhere in the area, but I don't know where as of yet. And contacting the Trib to find out will get you nowhere. Already tried. Some folks have suggested trying the dollar stores (Dollar Tree, Deal$). I do find this paper occasionally on my "diving" trips and it has great Qs!

Yay for Peoria area people!

The Dollar Tree quit selling the Trib about a year ago. Kroger on Rt. 40 and probably some of the gas stations have the Trib.

Route 40 is N. Knoxville Ave in Peoria. I believe this is the location she's referring to:
Kroger
9219 N. Lindbergh Dr.
Peoria, IL 61614
Store Phone: (309) 691-8701
Pharmacy Phone: (309) 692-0473

This is down Rt 40/Knoxville, past Pioneer Pkwy heading out towards Dunlap. The map looks like it's in a plaza off Knoxville.

Helpful to know, but waay out my usual path so probably a no go for me.

Hope that helps!
