I was at Aldi's today and needed lunch meat. My first impulse was to buy their Fit and Active, but I decided to compare labels anyway. As it turns out their Lunch Mate brand is lower in fat, calories (and calories from fat), cholesterol, and higher in protein. :confused58:
The only drawback is that it's also higher in sodium.
Just thought I'd pass this along in case anyone thinks they're getting a lower fat, lower calorie meat by buying F&A.
