What would happen if you combine a BOGO q with a Buy 1 get 1 50% off sale? Would there be any additional discount or would it just be BOGO?

i have never figured this out. i try to figure- buy 2- i'd pay for one, and get one half off- buy 4, and use 2 coupons, and get everything free- or, no, i'd get 2 free, and one half off- or , no, i'd....... and then my head starts to hurt, so i go make some coffee, and i never do get back to the problem.
i'm not sure there IS an answer, but i think it would take buying a lot of them.

Wouldn't the coupon just give you the 50% off one for free? So it wouldn't be any better than using it when the item is not on sale.

Bought 2 Zone Perfect bars today at $1.59 that were BOGO 50 off. Used my BOGO coupon from ZP and was credited with $1.59
