In Houston Chronicle this morning, 2 Kroger coupons:
$10 off your purchase of $50 - $100 and
$20 off your purchase of over $100.
Good Fri, Sat & Sun only! Coupon was in the back of section A.

The customer service lady told me about this. I was checked out and everything, but she said I can bring the coupon back in with my receipt and they will give me the money back. I will learn from now on to look in the daily papers instead of just the Sunday paper, there are goodies hidden everywhere. Thanks for the info.

Wouldn't it be nice if they just programmed that on our Kroger cards, and didn't have to buy paper?!!

Doesn't specify before/after Qs ... Says LIMIT ONE $10 or $20 coupon per transaction. ... excludes tobacco, fuel, pharmacy, lottery, gift cards and items prohibited by law ... subject to applicable taxes.

$10 one -- off Your Total Grocery Order of $50 to $99.99 with your plus card
$20 one -- ... order of $100 or more ..

Only thing that confuses me is says (last line, fine print): Coupon only valid at Kroger Enterprise Stores in Texas and Louisiana Only. Can not be combined with any other offer --

The "any other offer" apparently doesn't include use of Qs, per dwshrty77roc's CS person.

I guess TX/LA stores are technically "Kroger Enterprise stores"??

I took the $10 Kroger q back in and the lady scanned my card, my receipt and the q and gave me my $10 in cash. So hopefully they will honor anyone elses that didn't know about it like me.

I don't see how I missed the big display in the foyer at the store. They had a big poster board with that section of the paper with those q's on it.

I spent $15.63 and saved $140.04 (used the $20/$100). I should've saved more, but I brought the wrong IP Keebler coupons so I should've had another $3.30 in coupon savings. The awesomely sweet U-Scan checker was so excited for me - she printed out a copy of the receipt to keep for her own bragging rights! :giggle2: I gave her the $10/$50 coupon I had because I thought she would enjoy it more.

I feel like I did really well tonight. I got all of the stuff listed below, plus a coupon for $3 off my next order for the OEP taco seasoning!

All 5 are in Saturday's paper???? !!!... Got up too late to get to dollar store for early Sunday paper ... I forget how much Sat. Chronicle is, but might be worth it to pick up a few! (can probably still find a few of them!!)

WOW! That's a nice change. I'd noticed they were starting to put the RP in some of the Sat. papers, but never noticed the SS in there ... guess I'll have to start checking!

EDIT: duh ... had one of my blonde moments, thinking this was about the inserts NOT the $10 or $20 off ... (where's the icon where I'm slinking away, head hung down??!) ... Actually went out looking for Saturday papers (were harder to find than Sunday ones, go figure). The Saturday papers I found only had the RPs, no GM or SS ... oh well, just have to roll my tail outta bed earlier in the morning and go get the Sunday paper!

yes, we got all 5 inserts and the 2 kroger coupons are in the A section, back page. got my paper this morning at the 99¢ store.

for sugar land shoppers. the dollar tree is replacing the 99¢ store on hwy 6/bissonett... crossing my fingers that they sell the paper!

I haven't been able to find a Dollar Tree or any other dollar store that sells early sunday for 99¢ in north Houston.
I stayed up late last night to this morning just to get 4 early sundays.
I didn't know about the Kroger coupon until this afternoon. I have enough copies to give neighbors I guess.

If they did it on your card, you could only use one coupon probably.
This way you can use a 2nd, 3rd, etc on next shopping trip.

Also, this ad campaing's purpose maybe to draw business from other grocery chains, esp the one advertising you do better at our store without the Kroger card, rather than just help regular Kroger shoppers.

where in north houston are you? i get my papers at the 99 cents only store. theres one in atascocita, humble, channelview, 59 and little york, 249 and bammel n. houston, theres one in spring on sawdust rd, 1960 & jones rd, in conroe on i-45 and loop 336, hw6 and keith harrow...

you can look it up by the store locator on their site 99only.com. they have the early sunday edition, and the sunday edition for $1 each. i guess ill have to see if i can find $100 worth of stuff to buy! lol

very good point! Didn't think about that! ... and, some folks aren't going to think to look in the paper part for Qs, so they're saving that money -- smart move.

Ventured out and found a Sunday paper ... don't forget to look in Parade ... the one I got had a Q for surf (Pg 6) AND for Hormel Complete dinner (Pg 9)!! Don't know why I'm excited about that ... don't need detergent and DH decided he doesn't like the Hormel in his lunch anymore :shrug7:. Anyway, might be good for y'all!!

They don't count toward your total, the computer subtracts them when the subtotal button is hit. The cookies did help me get up to the $100 though, and there are $0.55/1 IP in the database for Keebler.

Of course the .99 store on HWY 6 and Keith Harrow was out of papers before 1:00 and I don't think they get the Early Sun (on Sat) until 10:30 or 11:00.....

wow that sucks lol. my normal (closest) store is bw8 and wallisville (i think thats channelview) they get their papers around 8:30-9am and are usually out by 12 or 1.

the one on 59 and little york im not sure what time they get theirs, but ive gone there at 2 or 3pm and they still have quite a few.

the one in atascocita on 1960 gets theirs late, ive been there a couple times at around 1pm and they were just being dropped off.

those are the only ones i go to usually :)

I got 8 this morning and had so much fun being the coupon fairy. :smile:
I even had one couple tear up as they thanked me. I was very happy to be able to help them!!!
The manager came up to me to make sure I got my coupon. When I told him I was handing out extras he thanked me as they were not allowed to, but he told everyone that morning so they could get a paper for their coupon. He was so excited about the promotion. Not as excited as me :hysterical:

I went out tonight and used 2 and was able to give the customer in front of me 1. Also was able to give him a couple other coupons for stuff he was buying :hysterical:

And the lady in front of him was a couple dollars shy so the cashier was asking her to get something else. She didn't really want chocolate, so I asked if she needed batteries and gave her a coupon for those too, that was fun
