My dh who has a great voice :<3: will be leaving a voice mail message for Ruth tonight or calling her in the morning. re: the Fort Worth Hulen/Granbury rd and the Denton - Teasley Lane stores not D/T 3 like coupons. I'll update if he finds anything out.
If there are other stores still not D/T post here and I'll have him ask about those too.

Will try to find the ones I saw that still not d/t ...
DH is a "silver-tongue devil", eh? ... gotta watch those guys!:giggle2:
Another member was also reporting your store on Teasley (Denton), so these are the 3-4 I was thinking of, don't know about any others.

Went to Kroger last night in Fort Worth, Hulen & Granbury Road and they are still only tripling one like q. Does anyone know if the one at McCart & Alta Mesa is tripling 3? Kremsh emailed about this, this week.
Can anyone confirm Shreveport La on Bert Kouns and Youree Dr locations? -- from lifesaver (think she sent a mail this week, too)
if you DH thinks about it, could he let Ruth know -- reset confirmed by another shopper 9/5 @ Kroger 695 -- Pleasant Ridge, Arlington, TX This one was reported 9/3 with yours (on Teasley in Denton) in the email I sent
Thank DH ... have to remember to put him on my Christmas card list! (haven't sent any out in years, but I got the list!)

There not going to change their new policy... why would they? Think about it... There are people willing to pay full price for an item... couponers sometimes clear the shelf.. they loose money when they double and triple coupon therefore making our business not essential to the growth of the company... you guys are going to be offended by that... but sometimes my grocery bills are under $10 .. and i have a full basket of groceries... yeah it sucks.. but i'm fully confident that any protests made will be in vain... other stores don't double or triple (wally world, cvs) and some stores limit how many you can (randalls) ..... so this is nothing new... as my store manager told me ... the economy and all we are tightening our belts ... just as you consumers are... makes sense eh?

I think the stores should be uniform. Why are some Kroger stores D/T 3 like coupons and other Kroger stores not? I would like to find out if it's something that hasn't been corrected/re-set in their system or if it's a new change. Many of the stores were not D/T after the big super $1.00 sale and most of them have been fixed now to D/T 3 like coupons.
It's easy for me to just go a little further to the Kroger that is D/T down the street but it would be nice though if I could shop at the store closer to me. If they are loosing money by D/T they are still loosing money by us consumers that are shopping at their stores that are D/T coupons or going to another grocery chain to shop.
The big question that I'm trying to get answered is why one Kroger is D/T coupons and one that is just down the street from it IS ? I'm not protesting just trying to get an answer so I can move on and shop accordingly.
PS: I love CVS! They may not D/T 3 like coupons but they have wonderful sales and not once have I had a problem with using coupons there.

To give you a recap of what this is about: After Super Doubles Saturday the registers failed to re-set to allow more than 1 d/t. The store managers that were allowing 3 d/t, and customers, were not happy about this. The store managers didn't know why it wasn't allowing 3 d/t, but were trying to get it fixed. We tried to help them get this fixed by finding someone who knew what was going on with the registers. We finally got in touch with someone at Kroger that realized it was a problem AND got it fixed ... except for these stores that we know got overlooked in the re-set. (There are other threads lower down on list where all of this is has been discussed since Super Doubles!)
So, it's not a request for policy change ... just to correct a problem so the store managers that allow 3 d/t (and many, if not most, do) could have the registers doing that!
Welcome to the board!:wavehi:

I questioned my store manager... and he said about that tightening of belt stuff... and he said they were limiting coupons so everyone would have the opportunity to buy products
he also said that kroger will not go back to the 3 dt or tri per item coupon

I did send an email about the Hulen/Granbury Road store and got a response back from her saying she would check into it. Haven't been back yet but was planning to go today and see if it's been fixed. I've got lots of running to do today, so I'll post back later and let y'all know.

My Kroger at 76016 is not D/T. I think it's a new policy- it worked after the big sale, and this weekend, but not Tues. I called customer service (the # on back of my card) and she read that to me off of her computer (didn't sound too confident about what she was telling me). From the look of the other posts here, other stores in our area might still be doing it. I didn't talk to the store's manager, but might here soon.
