Then I realized that advanced warning gives time to get regular prices to add to the Price List (and to know how much of a discount they're giving us, if any, when the ad comes out)!!

Sorry folks, I'm probably gonna let some of y'all have fun going and getting prices on these things ... unless I happen to go shopping and notice a few (doubtful on shopping, still trying to cut Qs from mid-August).

LOL! I was glad they included the shopping list in the booklet. I'm hoping to scout out Kroger this weekend for regular prices...I'll be sure to share what I find.

I feel your pain on the Qs. I finally got my backlog of 35 inserts cut, but sorting them into my binder...I'm thinking of hiring help :)

Ok I want to help... are you guys getting prices on everything in the store or only those things you have a coupon for. I save all my reciepts and they have the price and the sale price. but not the end date of a sale. would any of this help.

Eventually I would LOVE to have the prices of everything in the store! Or at least everything that is on mega deals and promos and sales on a regular basis.
Right now, I am focusing on the items that are part of the upcoming mega deal, but wouldn't it be great to have a price book at our disposal to give us at least a starting point in trying to prepare for our shopping trips!

Prior, recent receipts would help at least build up the products that we need to go back and see size and end dates. Much easier to have it on the google doc and just fill in the blanks then to write it all out at the store. I go almost daily at lunch and if I had a spreadsheet starting point I could get LOTS more prices during my lunch break then if I had to write the product, size, reg price, sale price etc.

Looking at the spreadsheet, it looks like everything in store! there's also a column for date price-checked, so date on receipt could work there.

My guess is one or both:
1. didn't order enough, or order didn't arrive
2. people are getting a good price without Qs and wiping out shelves (guess we can't be blamed for that shelf being cleared, if they take the time to realize there are no Qs for it!)
