Anyone use this? I picked one up after Vocal Point coupon for $1.74 at Walmart, and have run about 10 loads over it. And so far, I am not convinced I will reach the suggested average two month point, or even one for that matter, and my clothes just don't give off that super fresh bouncy smell that you get from an old-fashioned dryer sheet. What you think?

I like it, but then I only use fabric softener to prevent static. I don't like my clothes to be perfumed. I am actually surprised how long it is lasting. I have been using it a week or so (heavy use--6 people and a stomach flu) and it doesn't look like it has worn down much at all. It seems it will easily last the 2 months promised.

I have seen so many complaints about the dryer bars on the board, and I am having NONE of the problems people have listed. I haven't had any staining or white spots. No funky smells, just strong Bouncy freshness. I've run 22 loads through the dryer since I put it in, and yes, I am keeping track. (I bought the 4 month bar by mistake). The bar is holding up really well with no cracking or flaking that I can see.
My mom has one, and she even MOVED her dryer to a new location on a moving truck with the bar still attached. Hers is working just as well as ever. She did say that fluffing clothes does not give them the bouncy smell, but I don't normally do that.

hmm, I am bummed. I read some really great reviews on it, but am not experiencing the same. I wonder what the varience is.

i stuck mine in a couple weeks agao and i do laundry everyday and it looks like its going to last a while...i havent seen any spotting on my clothes or anything like that and i do like it...i love my clothes to smell all perfummy so i add in everything...liquid softner, dryer shhts and the dryer bar now...i dont think it would be powerful enough for me to just use alone but i do notice my clothes have been smelling extra nice and seem extra soft so i would definetly replace it when its done, im not super estatic about it but i do like it:smile:

WOW that's a lot of smelly softness!
I do agree that the bar has made my clothes very soft! I did a load of towels that I let dry completely outside and put them in with the bar, and they were wonderfully soft!

I am on my second bar with the vocal point coupons. I love love love this thing. No more dryer sheets flying around my house because my kids like to carry them around and then just leave them there. I bought the 2 month bar and I believe it says last about 2 months. I knew very well it wasn't going to last about 2 months because we are a family of 7 and do laundry everyday! I have no complaints at all. Maybe the difference between what everyone is experiencing is that some people dry their clothes on really hot, or hot, or warm, or the cool thing. I am sure that there is going to be a difference in how much smell you get with the temperature of the dryer. I do all my clothes on hot and I get the bouncy fresh smell all of the time. I have not had any spots or stains on the clothes from the bars either. So again needless to say this is my new best product!

I'm having HUGE issues with the thing sticking to the dryer. Anyone come up with a home remedy for this? Any suggestions? I like the way the clothes smell and feel, but I just can't keep the thing sticking on the dryer and I'm on my second one - thought maybe the first one was defective, but the second one is doing the same thing...

I've used mine for about 2 weeks & love the scent. I never had any problems with white spots or staining. Anyway, it's come unstuck & I tried resticking it-didn't work. Now it's broken into 2 pieces, definitely not going to last 2 months.

Well mines lasting, but needs more scent I think. I think I will still use them if I can get them cheap, because I give a ten for softness.

I really like the smell it gives off. My has stuck fine so far. On one of my first couple of loads it did leave some white spots on my towels but it hasn't done it since. I will definitely be buying another one when this runs out.

I prefer the dryer sheets. My bar did not leave the fresh smell like the sheets do.I do laundry every day.Do they have different smelling bars?My Bi-lo store only had 1 smell.

I got one for the overage at Target, but I don't think I'll use it soon. I just started using the Purex 3-in-1 sheets and I am converted.
The only thing I ever hated about doing laundry is the heavy bottles of detergent and softner, and the messy gunk they leave on the edge of my washer- you know, the drips and spills.
