CVS - Receipts

Is there anything that triggers CRT's on our receipts? I haven't gotten any besides the free item in August and I'm sad. I just want some of the good stuff that I see others are getting. I'm green w/ envy. Any help is appreciated. TIA.

I think some of your shopping habits may trigger what crt offers you get, other times its totally random. Sometimes me and my sis get the same q's, other times we get different one. Like today, I got a Revlon crt while she got Almay. We both the same $1 off Reese's snack pack candy.

Are you talking about receipts or scanners? Because if you use the scanner before you buy something, you won't get CRT on your receipt. If you do not get good CRT from the scanner, try scanning your card on Monday. It seems that Mondays are the days for good CRT.

Wait you are telling me something I've never heard before. I scan my card at the scanner everytime I go into a CVS. So that is why I'm not getting an CRT's? Had no idea. I'll refrain next time I go into the store to shop and see what happens. That is just wrong. Reps to you though.

Nope, not exactly. If you scan your card at the scanner, you are supposed to get CRTs from the scanner. If you never use the scanner, then you are supposed to get CRTs on your receipt. However, depending on how new your card is, it might take a while for you to start getting good CRT. Your card needs to build up a history of purchases and then, you will be getting CRTs according to that history.

I usually always try to scan my card on Mondays. CVS changes their weekly CRT (the ones you can get every day) on Mondays. When I scan the card on Mondays, I get the regular weekly CRTs and some CRTs for different products. It just seems like Mondays are the days for good CRTs. Try and see if the scanner will give you something different on Monday. Do not get discouraged if you do not get anything. I've had Mondays when I would only get the weekly CRts. But usually I get something else other than the weekly stuff if I scan on Monday. I have also heard from other people that it has worked for them.

So do CRTs not print on our receipts anymore when we purchase something? My card isn't new, though I've been absent from CVS for almost 2 years b/c of where I lived. I only get the coupons from the scanner for CVS products. Just the other day I finally got a CRT for Fruitopia product B1G1. But from what I see in all the threads I'm missing out on all the good stuff (like the Clean and Clear that someone got). I'm willing to be patient if I know that one day good CRTs will come. In my experience, no, if I've already swiped it at the scanner. Maybe one time out of 100 I'll get a coupon from both sources.
