cvs--confirmed 90% off

My CVS went to 90% off this morning. I bought lots of flip flops for kids at 29 cents. I got lots of toys and balls to donate to the school.

My CVS went to 90% today, too. 3 other CVS stores I went to were still at 75%, though. According to the manager at my favorite store, the $29.99 sno-cone, milkshake, and margarita machines will not be marked down. Please post the location HCWers if those items are discounted at your store.

When a cashier left, she took a box full of clearance stuff with her, and had another cashier ring it up! All of what was in the box was no where to be found on the shelves...:sad:

My store went 90% off too Jersey and all the good good stuff was gone when I got there. The cashier told me that someone went out with 6 carts full early this morning. I was there at about 9.30 am and quite a few people picking up the same stuff.

I was pretty happy. The sunglasses are not at 90% by me but I did get 3 pairs at a store near Vorhee NJ store yesterday for $4.99 was $19.99 really needed a pair as I lost my last two and they were pricey.. My mgr said the glasses were not part of the 90% and that the other store should not have had them at 75 so I guess I made out..
I am just happy I got some stuff and I still left tons on the shelf. I can only use so much there are always others who like a good deal too.

None of my stores had any of the lawn chairs at 75% or 90% off. In fact, none of the lawn chairs were on clearance. So, I got a grill cover, a wiffle bat set, some beach toys, and some napkins! No "expensive" items were clearanced though. Wahhh! I really really need some chairs. Mine are all rusty. =(

I'm currently in Upstate New York (dog sitting for my sister and brother in law while they go on a cruise). I stopped at a couple of CVS's yesterday to roll some ecb's and get my weekly free's....well second CVS said all the 75 % off stuff would be 90% off tomorrow...Ummm I gulped big...lol. Tinsley Blake pink quilted messenger type bag for $1.50. Reg. Price $14.99 My cousins 11 yr has mentioned several times she really likes my Tinsley Blake Quilted Beach Bag so this will be a nice gift for her.

(2) Beach Bags/Totes for $1.30 each (Reg. Price $12.99) that were all black with little sandals, beach chairs, sunglasses on it. Very Florida looking so that will be a gift for my New Jersey Aunts..:giggle2:lol. They'll think I bought them in Florida. hee hee.:giggle2:

I was able to use the $3 off any $10 CVS Brand crt from scanner machine since all the above items are CVS Brand. :BigHand:


At the first CVS I got (6) pairs of flip flops at $1.75 each (Reg. Price $6.99) so 75% off. I was able to use the $3 off any $10 CVS Brand crt from scanner machine since they are CVS Brand.

Wish I was home to get that patio set. I missed it last time around too. Oh well.

There were goggles, beach toys, etc. Not much of great interest to me other than what I got.

OH WELL! I didnt get a lot of the stuff I wanted for DS but I did manage to get my coolers and that is what I really wanted.
The 34.99 coolers with wheels and handle were 3.49 and I got TWO!
I also got a smaller igloo cooler that was 19.99 for 1.99
A cooler bag for the car for .79
5 bottles of bubbles for .09 each

I went once too early and once almost too late today. It really is about timing thats for sure.

St. Petersburg is at 90%. I spent $4.xx oop for $333.xx today. Got to the store at about 11 and left at 2 ish. Two carts full of all sorts of things. It was so cool, the cashier had the price gun following me around. I'd give her things she wanted & throw stuff in my cart. We were having a ball!

If you guys can find any left the Kingsford Charoal 9lb bag scanned .65¢. Another cool thing I got was a $29.99 soft cooler on wheels (like the airport luggage) for $2.99!

woo hoo!!!! i got tons of great stuff at CVS today with their 90% summer clearance. some of the beach towels were only .49 cents. my shopping cart was full and had to carry some stuff out. i purchased over 50 items for $19. 87. now that's a deal. :BigHand:

every store I went to was marked down to 90% and I found 4 pairs of the 7.99 sunglasses and they rang up .79. I also found a 16.99 playmate cooler and it rang up 1.69. the high school musical card game in the case that was 8.99 rang up .89 I racked up on deals today.

I went to three CVS stores today and only one of them had 90% off, and many good stuff were gone. I still scored a couple of 9 ft umbrellas and folding chairs. People were going out the store with cartload of stuff and there wasn't much left at 2 pm.

One of my stores had watches 90% off (I only noticed watches at one other store, and they were 50% off). So they were ringing up 1.99 or 1.49. Sharp watches that i swear you would think were Fossil watches if you couldn't read the names. Awesome deal I thought.

I was lucky - as I happened to be out of town on Sunday. Well, I spent $9 OOP on items on Sat night at 75% off - stupid me - although one was the Disney hats I wanted for DD and on Sunday, they were all gone. I had no internet there so I had no idea that it was going to 90% the very next day. DOH! I had ECBs expiring that I found late Sat night so I got tons of sandals, pool floaties and toys for DD. I didn't see the beach toys that I wanted there. Finally I went to my store where it was completely gone except one set of sand toys (set of 5 but there were only 4 pieces left - wonder what the missing piece was) and 1 submarine for the bathtub. I didn't see any coolers or bags or towels in that area.

I sent my son to search out the Patio set...he found one but was only 50% off...$65.00..reg. $129.99. ???

Also want to mention the CVS in Middletown, New York...SUCKS!!!! The manager is E-V-I-L..I tell you. He is such a jerk...and so rude. I think he is a little slow too. I went in to get my 2 Contours (well really my $10 in ecb's) and he keep saying over and over very sternly, expressionless,and dry...You can only get one.....You can only get one. I said nicely what do you mean the sales ad states a limit of 2. He says...You can only get one....You can only get one. At this point I'm thinking what is wrong with this guy? Does he have a mental problem because he wouldn't explain himself. He just keep repeating himself. :shrug7: Anyways once he saw it in the ad he reluctantly allowed me to buy 2. :rolleyes24: Geesh!! Really...his store looks like it needs sales.

That store is a mess, hardly any of the sales tagged and out of stock of everything. They hassle you about everything and not friendly at all. I waaaant my CVS employees and stores..Waaaaa. I tell you what I sure appreciate my CVS's back home after this experience.

I stopped there to see what there might be left from the 90% off sale....Well nothing of course as I watched an off duty employee go to the back of the store (storage area) and proceed to pull out a cart full to the brim with clearance stuff and her boyfriend carried another load in his arms. Hmmm wonder if they are allowed to do that as employees???

The employees and manager at the Goshen, New York store were very nice, friendly and helpful. The 24 hr store in Chester, New York not soo nice either. Getting a raincheck was like asking for their first born. Manager acted bothered by my questions. Like where I could find certain items. I was not familiar with that store. I know they are all kinda similar but not really. I couldn't find advertsed items on the shelves where they should be...not even a spot for them. :shrug7: This is where I got the flip flops for $1.75 each. I got 6 pair. 2 for me, 2 for Mom and 2 for my sister. :biggrin: Hooray!! Not all is loss.

thats shocking for the 29th st store! big "s" doesnt like to mark anything down because he believes its coming out of his pay check, I sometime think he sleeps at that store so he can watch everyone who comes in and out that door, he also doesnt like coupon people. he will never use my coupons and always wants to fight with me and its pointless to call the 1800 on him.

Even thought there were signs up for the 90% off, two stores in my area had summer stuff and cat litter ringing up at full price. One manager said they have to reset everything every week and he was working on it, but also said it was due to a computer glitch. Try scanning and if needed check with manager, it should be reset by now.

dumpster diving anyone?? LOL.....that is a shame!! but i know someone who works at the dump here and he said even walmart comes in and throws away brand new stuff!! it should be illegal to do that!!!
