To make a long story short: I have a raincheck from CVS for an item that is free after ECBs. I know that the rainchecks don't expire (this one is several months old) and I cannot remember if I went to a different CVS and was able to pick up the item or not. I called the Extra Care Bucks hotline and the girl was no help. I don't want to try to use the Raincheck and they force it through and it puts me over the limit. What do I do? Has anyone had this problem before and if so how did you resolve it?

you can use that raincheck at any cvs. i have even gotten my rainchecks mixed up and used one on a card that i already did that offer on and had no issue. not thinking they track rainchecks to a particular card. hope that helps.

I think the question is whether the ECB's will print out if OP had gotten the item somewhere else during the original promotion, thereby reaching the limit of that promotion.
You can always check on-line at your ECB's that have been issued if you still have the ECB from that promotion. Otherwise, it's just a gamble. Keep in mind that you can always return the item if your ECB's didn't print.
I generally pull my raincheck out of my binder if I end up getting the item during the promotion and give it to someone who hasn't reached their limit yet. I also keep all my receipts, so it's possible to review them too in case I'm not sure if I reached my limit or not.
Customer service should be able to take the event code and your ExtraCare # to see if you've reached your limit, but CS is hit and miss.
