I found this the other day on the pharmacy counter at my CVS. I haven't seen anything posted about it yet.

It is bright red with "$100 Coupon Book, It's a smart way to save", on the cover.

It is about the size of a checkbook, but alot thicker. Many, many coupons.

They are valid 9/1/09 to 12/31/09.

Last two sentences of the paragraph on the back of the Q, are:

"Cannot be combined with any other CVS/pharmacy coupon. Limit one
coupon per customer.

Well I just emailed CVS corporate to have them clarify the ad. The ad reads:
Get a Flu Shot - Get a $100 coupon book * (notice the asterisk)
* No purchase necessary (in fine print)

I asked them 1)Do you have to get a flu shot in order to get the book? 2)Why does it say "no purchase necessary" next to the coupon book if a shot is required?

I'll let you all know what response I get back from corporate. I want this info so if you do not need a shot to get it, I can print out the email and bring it to my pharmacist to get a book. My store does have a minute clinic.

I was told that you got the coupon book WHEN you got the shot. FYI-- if you or your spouse is unemployed you can get a voucher from workforce facilities and you take the voucher to CVS to get the shot. BTW the shot is free with a voucher... Hope that helps...

i looked to see if this was already posted and please excuse this if it is but my daughter bought me home a 100 dollar cvs coupon book with all sorts of cvs coupons in it..she just got a job in the pharmacy and they gave her a flu shot and i guess when you get the shot they give you the book..thats what they told her...so maybe something to check out if you are planning on getting one:smile:

It seems to depend on where you go. One pharmacy gave it to me, no problems. Another one told me that you had to get the flu shot. I argued that the ad specifically states that no purchase is necessary but they insists that the ad is wrong. I wrote to corporate because I am so annoyed that the ad reads one thing, yet the employees will dispute what is printed in black and white. I am still waiting for corporate to respond, but I am know that the employee is wrong about this.

Although I can see how the pronoun could stand in for both the booklet and flu shot, that would be an awkward way to make the statement that you can't get the booklet if you don't get the flu shot. Besides, it goes against the wording from the ad.

Thanks for the quick reply. Aren't you smart! I entered "CVS $100 Coupon Book" and ten q's came up so that is a start. They aren't anything I use though. I was hoping for some $4/20's or better like they had in the auto refill booklet. Surely, there's got to more than the database is showing 'cause they don't add up to $100 and definitely wouldn't motivate me to get a shot!:nah1:

Yes they take insurance. I think without insurance it's 30.
This week you should use the head and shoulders, dial body wash, dove shampoo and dove clinical coupons would be good to use this week.

I was at work the only day I could get the flu shot and I thought it doesn't hurt to ask for a coupon book. They told me that I needed the shot for the book. But after I read the paper today, I may ask again.

I got a mailer saying to just stop in and get your $100 booklet. I saved it because I knew they might give me a hard time.
