The charcoal Q is coded like a manu.
It beeped. Boy of boy did it beep! :rolleyes24:
When it started beeping I wanted to just tell the cashier why and to just use the $3/1 Q and forget the other. (I needed charcoal) But I let her scan and scan and scan until she figured it out. :hysterical:
I swear if it didn't take it the first time (and I didn't give you a solution ) what in the h*** makes you think it's going to work the 5th?? :giggle2:

Yes, it says "limit one coupon per item" so cannot be combined with a manufacturer's coupon, sorry! Still .49 is a good deal and the free trail mix is awesome!

CHEAP TURKEY TENDERLOINS (these are so good and healthy!)
Jenni-o 1.5lb Turkey Tenderloins are BOGO free, regular $9.99. Throw in something else really cheap from the meat dept. (I found soup bones marked down to $.89 cents) and you have some CHEAP tenderloins!
Buy 2 tenderlions, $19.98 pre-MVP
Filler $1-$2 or so
Total = $20.98 to $21.98 - $9.99 MVP - $5.00 meat dept. FLIP = $5.99 to $6.99!
Great deal for Turkey Tenderloins!

Do the crab legs count as meat for the $5/20 FLIP?
Someone on AFC posted that they successfully used the FLIP on crab legs and shrimp.
The crablegs break down to 3 lbs for $6.97.
$6.99 x 3 = $20.99
$3.99 x 3 = $11.97 - $5q = $6.97
Usage can be argued that q states $5 off $20 purchase in the meat department (where seafood is located), so YMMV I guess.

I tried to use the $5/$20 on a pack of ribeyes today. It was a no go. The cashier kept pointing to the AFTER MVP price and saying I didn't spend enough and I kept saying the Q was based on the pre mvp price. I got no help from managment. I finally just said give me Q's back I'll go to another FL that knows their policy. They weren't happy about that one bit. But at that point I wouldn't have bought those staeks from them had they given them to me!

Yeah, most of the time the cashiers don;t even look at the coupons, but for ones like this I try to make sure that I get other things so they don't try to tell me I didn't spend enough. It saves me the headache.

None of the Food Lion's I've ever been to have a seafood department. All the seafood is found right with all the other meat.

Logistically, seafood is meat. It's meat of an animal, just an animal that lives in water as opposed to on land (ask any vegetarian) It should work on seafood.

I got the Planter's Trail mix today ... but I couldn't find any of the individual bags of Food Lion brand nuts. I looked on the nuts & popcorn aisle and up by all the registers ... anyone know of anywhere else I should look? Last time I found them right by the cans and jars of nuts ... wonder if they just aren't stocking them while the coupon is out?
Also ... are there any coupons out that would be applicable to the BOGO FoodLion brand cat food?
Thanks! Elaine

Elaine, I was in 5 stores today and only found the FL single nuts in one of them!! And they expired in July..... They were in the nut aisle, but there was no tag. In another store there was a tag at the register, but no nuts. I think I may give up on this one.
