This has been said several times but needs to be said again.

Kmart has a limit of 10 coupons per person per day.

If you store does not impose those limits, we think that is great for you!

However, because of the Kmart corporate policy regarding doubles, we ask that you not post it here.

If you shope with more than one person doing transactions, please share! If you are able to visit more than one store per day, please share! If you do one trip a day and follow the limit, please share.

If your store lets you do multiple transactions and use more than the 10 per day per person limit, please just say you love Kmart doubles

I'm confused--I thought we couldn't share if we went to more than one store a day.

Ditto. I thought this too.

I love Kmart doubles :wavehi:

This week at my store, the weekly ad had no mention of doubles and a big banner advertising Doubles up to 2.00, limit 75 qs...on their front door.

I asked the manager on duty if his signage was old since corporate said 10 qs per person per day (per internet). His reply was that corporate told him what signage to put up and when, and not to believe everything I read on the internet. And, asked me if I really thought all the employees working here would risk their jobs to make couponers happy?

I believe the doubling events promos are regional and corporate gives out a canned response to cover their behinds...news does travel fast via the internet.

The 10 limit is published in the ad that is put out by Kmart. I'm guessing your speaking of the responses emailed to various board members/customers before each doubles re: whether or not their store is participating and the rules? This is not where HCW and the Mod's obtain their factual rules through, it's only a reiteration of posted rules in the ad. Why the manager would say that I have no idea. Doesn't even make much sense.

Now, we have all come to find that doubles rules and limits vary by store but this limit that has been imposed by Corporate directly through published ads is what HCW goes by when monitoring posts.

Everyone should note, however, that the SUPER K ads that run Wed-Tue (in this case, Sept 2-8) in fact state a limit of "25" per customer per day, again this is per the posted ad online at kmart.com.

If anyone wants to check this - see Queensbury, NY.

This is also correct here in Indianapolis, IN as well (46227 zip to check). I did all my shopping well within the 'legal' limits. I didn't make a distinction in my 'brag' but I figured it was clear I shopped with other people and at a store that the actual limit was not 10 but 25 coupons.

This why I no longer post my K-Mart brags on this forum. None of the Kmarts around me (there are 3) have limits as per the DM's of these stores. I have it in writing from both of them. The first DM actually wrote me that corporate told him they put that in the ads but the stores were not to enforce - that it was only there as a deterrent.:shrug7:

My weekly ad has no mention of doubles (19087) and has signage advertising double Qs up to 2.00, limit to 75... I believe you are guessing wrong. If you are talking about the printed ad that PG sponsored in last week's insert, a few weeks ago PG ad was the key to not follow Kmarts printed ads in some areas...go figure.

This is the internet...no magic...just a source to exchange information. Sit back and ponder this question: (telephone or email) Hello, I run a internet site called XYZ and I just want to make sure I am posting the right information about your current sales event? I am sure corporate will say the canned response.

When in doubt, ask at customer service before you begin shopping.
If you know the rules, you can't break them by accident.
Play by the rules and everyone wins.

I love Kmart Doubles. :)

It wasn't a guess. I'm not speaking of the P&G ad. I'm speaking of the mass released Kmart ad's that specifically say "Limit 10". Your blessed not to have a Kmart that does not follow the limit but it doesn't change the rules on the board.

If you have a Super K with a limit of 25 that rocks! Just post that in your brags.

I know that some of you a frustrated especially when you store does not limit. But the fact remains that corporate, through phone, email and what we read in ads gives us the guidelines and have to go by them.

I am following the rules of hotcouponworld.com. This week ad nor last week (in my area) had no mention of doubles but have signage announcing the doubles.

I still believe it is regional how Q's are treated. And, not that Kmart in my area is not following the limits from so called 'the mass released Kmart ad's that specifically say "Limit 10".'

If HCW doesn't want posters to brag, fine. However, please don't imply that anyone using more than 10 Qs, per day, per store is cheating (customers or store level employees)

Lets keep this on track.

I just wanted to put up the reminder that HCW follows the guidelines set forth by Kmart as a whole company, not one store or one manager or employee at one store.

If you have an ad that states limit 25 coupons, that is fantastic! Those are the guidelines for your area and stores. Post about them.

If a manager or employee allows you to go over the limits set up in the ad, then that is great for your stockpile, but since it is not within Kmarts policy for double coupons, the owners of the site have decided they do not want those posts on the board.

If your store sticks up a sign that is something store specific feel free to check with Queenofthehivemomof5 about posting those shopping trips.

I'm not implying that. I'm simply stating that that is how the rules are reached. It's not just because of a "canned" response by Corp as you seem to think. It is stated in the ad. Just because you did not receive it does not mean it doesn't exist. In fact it does and is part of the basis behind our brag rules.

I also stated it was regional and could vary by store depending on the manager.

I would appreciate it if you didn't twist my words. I think we can agree to disagree though. We both have different views and that's ok :)

No problems  I just stated that I thought the way Qs were treated was regional and did not post any brags.

Lets just shake hands, and please understand that THE INSERT I recieved in my mailbox had no mention of Doubling Qs and the signage at the store advertised Doubling Qs...75 limit, 4 of the same Qs...

BoydTeam, looking at the brag thread you have a great team since you were under '10 Q limit Kmart law' and used over 130+ Qs in three days!

Lets just hope that we don't have to wait till 1/2010 for the next doubles!
