K-Mart Question Re: oyno CRTs/Cats

Hi,

A few doubles ago, K-Mart had a spend $50 get a $14 Catalina deal. It actually printed a $14 Catalina (red/white) that said K-Mart Store Coupon on it. I used it on a $40 video game for DH.

Today, he returned the game and they only refunded him $27.81. They did not refund him the $14 for the Catalina.

Is that correct? I had to buy $50 worth of stuff to get that Catalina in the first place, so I feel like I got cheated the $14.

IMO they should have issued a store credit for the portion that was a catalina...but I guess it depends on if they're treating it like a man q?

This is Kmart's new policy. Some people say it is better to return without a receipt now if you can because you will now lose out. The only way you wouldn't have lost this much is if you had other things on the receipt then the $14 catalina would have been divided between each item. It sucks, but they are trying to cover themselves since the coupons that print are actually free to us as the customer.
