Those waiting on Kashi Cereal Deal; Possible Scenarios ( I don't know the shelf prices just guessing or if will go by shelf, did last time I think.)

3 Kashi Honey Sunshine $10+ shelf $9 Sale-$6(free(1) $1.50(2)=$3-$2OYNO=$1/3
or
3 Kashi Honey $9-$4.50(3 $1.50/1q)=$4.50-$2OYNO=$2.50/3

It might be a better deal if we pair it with our Kashi Bar coupons, but I don't have those right in front of me to remember if those are $1.50/1 or $1.50/2. I know some of you have some other from the special event but I don't have those to know what they are.

The Bic multi-purpose lighter will be a good deal.

I think they are $2.99 regular price (anyone know for sure?).

If they are BOGO, they will be 50 cents apiece after the $1 MQs that are out there.

I use these to light candles all the time so I will be stocking up.

I was thinking they were $3.98 because I remember the $1 coupon and that Toronto area could get those free instead of paying like the rest of us. If I had the coupons I would use some, but I wouldn't buy any coupons since the Dollar Tree sells lighters for $1 and they work well too. JMHO

I'm loving the Kashi cat offer! I have (2) $1.50/2 boxes cereal q's and last week I found a q for a free box of cereal when you buy 4 boxes! I was going to buy them this week but everytime I went to GE they were out of the ones I wanted. Now I'm so glad they were!

By the way, does anyone know where that Kashi One Free cereal when you buy 4 came from? It has the GE logo on it and was printed on a different kind of paper, like maybe it was a mailer. I would love to know but I'm very happy that some nice person left it on the shelf for me to find. :wink7:

Just when I was thinking I had no reason to go to GE this week I read the Kashi deal! I have been waiting for one to come around so I could use my free Kashi sunshine coupon. I can't use a free coupon anymore without hoping there will be a way to turn it into a better deal by combining it with some kind of cat (or ECB)

Reach floss is 10/10 and there are coupons for .50 off floss from 8-2 SS and another for 1.00 off (not sure whcih insert) so free floss.

The Lays Baked are a whole separate product line and price point.

The GrillMasters last time were $3.98.

I'm wondering if like last time it will also spit out $2/2 before the transaction is done. That was great with the $2 OYNO, but of course $.55/1 DBLD is obviously better.

Well the soup at hand could not have come at a better time! I am coming down with something and really don't feel like eating..but know that I have to since I have someone else to feed in my belly :). I wanted soup last night but all we had was Tomato and I really wanted something else. I ate some anyways but wasted more than half the can. I got my coupons yesterday in the mail for the soup at hand and plan to run over there as soon as my daughter gets on the bus. This will be me my 3rd morning in a row going to GE after she gets off the bus. It's always the one same cashier..I am sure she thinks I am crazy. She is the only one that will stop a coupon if it has DND on it. I have to watch what I buy when she is working lol Other than these and the wonder bread.. I don't see much this week.

hmmm, aren't you due soon?

I'll be heading over in a couple hours to get some of the bread too. It's not my favorite (don't like their crust) but, I'm not the one that eats all the bread in my house LOL.

We've gotten out of the canned soups so I'll only buy a few (my son likes homemade soup better - the little brat:hysterical:). He used to eat campbell's chicken noodle morning, noon and night since he was 2 (he's almost 16) - I guess he's refining his palate:giggle2:)

Not soon enough that is for sure! I am due Dec 26th but will have a c-section sometime the week before, I don't have a set date yet but I am guessing around the 17th. I don't eat bread much so I could care less. We usually buy Sara Lee Whole Grain White Bread and we have had the wonder bread and nobody complained. The Giant Eagle Whole Grain White Bread is AWEFUL..never ..ever.. buy it. My 2 year old took one bite and said "eww trash" and threw it away. I didn't grab any bread.. not really sure why..but it's not like I wont be back over there. LOL
I got 20 soup at hands but I must advise.. CHECK THE EXPIRATION DATES!! I check everything I buy and there were a few tomato and chicken and stars that expired in like a week. I probably could have used them (since I am drinking/eating chicken and stars as I type this, and plan to consume soup the rest of the day and any day after that I am not feeling well.) but I put them back. I have "issues" when it comes to stuff expiring soon. I also picked up some anti-viral tissues that went on sale today as well. I had the .50/3 plus a buy 3 get one free. Paid roughly 2.99 for 4 boxes. Not great..but I need them *sniff sniff*
I don't know if all stores have them but they had pots of mums outside for 5.00. I have been eyeing them up for days and realized the color that I like was selling fast so I got 2 of them. I think it was a sad attempt to make me feel better, it worked for about a min then I realized I spent 10.00 more than planned. They were cheaper than the garden place so I just got them. I need to replant them into pretty containers..but oh not today!

I really don't have too much to buy this week. I am going to wait until next week to do my GE shopping. I ordered Edy's ice cream coupons and have to go to Chippewa to use them. For their Grand Re-Opening sale their Edy's is 4/$10. With the $4 OYNO and $1/1 Q's it will be 50¢ a container.

I was eyeing up a new freezer at Lowes I think I am going to go get. Their Energey Star appliances are 20% off until Monday so that makes the Freezer I want $518 instead of $748. Frigidaire at Lowe's: 20.5 Cu. Ft. Upright Freezer (Color: White) ENERGY STAR® (http://www.lowes.com/lowes/lkn?action=productDetail&productId=54922-2251-LFFH21F7HW&lpage=none)

We were going to put it on the sun pourch but that is going to be the kids play room here soon so I don't know where I could put it. I'm pretty sure shelf based on her transaction - 5 cereals @$3 = $15 and 1 cookie @ $2.50 = $17.50. I think the deal is buy $10 get $2, so she spent over $20 shelf, but not sale.

Kashi cereal is going by shelf price. Does anyone know if the soft baked cereal bars are included in the cat deal? The GE ad says Kashi cereal and TLB granola bars but doesn't specifically mention the cereal bars.

Thanks.

So... if I bought 3 cereals and 8 waffles I would have $40.39 shelf price and should get 4 $2OYNO. Can I use all the OYNO together?

The cereal bars are on sale for the same price as the others so odds are good that they are included in the car deal.
The items I bought today all went by shelf price towards the $2 cat.
I found $1/1 peelies on some cereals for cookies, Island Vanilla or Honey Sunshine cereals and (I think) frozen items. There are 3 peelies in a little booklet.

The cat states "Limit one coupon per customer not valid with any other offer." Looks like we will be using these one at a time.

Not soon enough that is for sure! I am due Dec 26th but will have a c-section sometime the week before, I don't have a set date yet but I am guessing around the 17th.

Well Dec 17th is a perfect day for you to have your baby. It's my birthday.

Hope you feel better very soon. :sorry4:

I completely disagree. The 18th would be a much better day to have a baby as it is my birthday!!!:whistle67::wink7:

I say let's make her wait until the 23rd - that's mine!!! Just KIDDING!! HA HA HA! When you get that close to having the baby, every day counts!

If she wanted to go a little earlier, she could hit DH's or my mom's! There's a variety of December choices in my household!!

Honey Sunshine is included for sure. I bought three boxes and got the cat. Also, I can confirm that the Kashi soft baked cereal bars are included even though they weren't listed. I bought three boxes of those and also received the catalina.

I got 11 boxes of Honey Sunshine (I got one coupon booklet from Vocal Point and got another in with a free sample- so 2 were free!). I got 5 $2cats back. So I spent $13.50 and got $10 back- $3.50 for 11 boxes (about 32c a box) for cereal that I should be eating.
I also got some of the GoGurt because I bought 3 boxes of CTC a couple of sales ago that had GE coupons on them. The GoGurt coupon was for $1.50 off! I bought 4 of them using 2 of the 75c/2 that doubled and 3 $1.50 GE ($10- $4.5- $3= $2.50); the lunch box is covered for a bit! I also had a coupon off the cereal box for Hefty trash bags $1 (so that plus the 55c doubled made for $3.40 for 25 huge black bags that we use once a month). I also used the Cottonelle coupon off of it and MFC to get the fru fru TP for $4 a pack (must think of the girls b-day parties!).
I spend more than most here now because 3rd shift ate my brain! But I feel like I did kinda ok.

The Honey Sunshine was all gone from my store today! Same with most of the Lay's chips. There must have been some couponers that came through before me! Oh well, plenty of time to go back before the sale is over.

I got the last, 6, at my store, but didn't get to use all my coupons. Felt a little guilty taking the last, but then again I think they will restock. That was a little after 7pm.

Also the Soft-Baked bars did not work toward the deal for me. I even bought a stinking go lean bar to throw me over the $40 mark to go with the bars and cereal. :giggle2: So in the end: I got 7 cereals, 2 boxes of cereal bars and 1 go lean bar for $11.50 oop -$6 Cats=$5.50

No $2/2 Ballpark cat to go with the $2 OYNO so I just bought the two packs.

I blame part of this on Kmart's SuperDoubles, but I have yet to shop at GE this week! I am only buying some bread and the Campbells, I think, but still! Normally I would have been shopped out and ready for next week's ad! I think we need a Colgate Cat to get me going again!

I bought 20 of the Campbells and received a GE cpn for $2 off 6......

Jen, I have not made it to GE this week yet either. For no other reason than for me this ad Stinks for the most part. I need to run up and get ice cream and bread yet.

Can you do more than 1 Edy's transaction per order?

I was going to get the bread but, realized that SNS has the same bread 4/$5 and the whole grain white 2/$3

I dn't have a SNS close enough to make it worth while. Plus last time I was at SNS they said they had stopped taking internet Q's so I don't even look at their ad anymore. I may have to run in and ask next time I am down that way to see if it makes it worth while.

Do you get the Cat with any 2 packs of Ball Park Franks or just the expensive ones? I have 40 of the 55 cents off 1 coupon. Wondering if I can get 20 transactions in by Wednesday.

Thanks!

I'm not totally sure, but I believe it is for any 2 not just the expensive ones.

I saw some were 2 for $3 today and I was hoping they would generate the CAT. If they do, I have a great MM!

Back to school stuff was starting to get marked down to 50% off at the Hempfield store. Everything was in buggys, but not everything had prices, so it was alittle difficult to figure out what a good deal.

The 1$/2 Mead 5 star Products coupons (IPs or if you ordered them from a clipper, I dont think we got them in our region) worked nicely on some of the binder pouches that were $1.50 each. Backpacks were 50% off regular retail. Window Markers were 1$, Crayola coloring pads were 99c...there were just tons and tons of buggys everywhere...lol
