It's the end of a good thing I guess. On Wednesday I was not allowed to use both the Shortcuts and a manufacturer coupon along with it even though we've been able to do that right along. They called it double dipping and it's not allowed. I was SO ticked off. Didn't buy the item. I thought the Shortcuts were Krogers version of store coupons.

That is strange. I never go to a cashier to check out. Always to the self check out. I never had any issues using both. Contact corporate.

Evidently they are starting to really tighten things up when it comes to coupons. Yesterday I checked this week's ad online and was disturbed to see that they will only now double three like coupons. The Columbus area (where you can get $.99 coupons doubled) is only allowing one like coupon. Very frustrating.

Yes, I saw the ad online. It was on the bottom of the first page in a blue box (look towards the bottom of the box and you will see the fine print). I looked up my old zip code in the Detroit area and saw the exact message at the bottom of their ad. I looked up a Columbus ad and saw the message about the $.99 doubles on the bottom of their first page as well. It is on the ad that starts today (Monday). Maybe you are lucky and are in an area that doesn't have the limits imposed. If so I am so jealous!!

Wheeling, WV Kroger only doubles to .50 and our ad says "Limit 3 manufacturers' coupons will be doubled per like items purchased" too. It makes me sad. :(

My Columbus area ad says "Limit of tow identical coupons will double." Well, I guess there I go with multiple transactions....:giggle2:

I used 6 of them last week during the mega deal. I was happy that each shortcut coupon did come off and had no problem using a manufacturers coupon which did double on each item.

Seriously! If I can't use all my qs in one transaction, I will just go through more than once. What a dumb rule.

I just have a quick question.. does this thread ever have the ad scan up? Either early or during the week with the matching deals? I normally shop meijer and love that thread and was wondering if this was just an off week or? Can someone pm me about this?

well how do they control that? like, can they take off the SC savings and then let you just have the mfq q savings?? how did they police it? I'm just disturbed because I have SC's loaded but usually my mfg q's are higher value.
