Superbob is still on vacation, so we might not get to see the ad early, although lately the PYP site has had it early in the Utah forum.

Dang, I just checked PYP and didn't see it. I was hoping to see if we were going to get doublers this coming week!

PYP never has it up before Monday so I would check back tomorrow. If you are getting doublers in the ad, I doubt it will be on PYP because we are no longer getting doublers here in Utah. I guess since they are closing our stores in a few weeks they aren't doing them. We did not get them today or last week like everyone else. (Exception-St George Utah is still getting them because their stores didn't get sold).

There will be just 3 in the St George area which is 250 miles from me. I am down to my last few weeks of shopping at Albies.

On PYP's front page:
Occasionally, to encourage visitors to register with PYP, we make the forums available to only registered members. To fully utilize all the great tools at PYP, you need to be registered!

That is the case when I try to view the UT ad. I've been able to every week til now. I thought I registered a long time ago, but my log in isn't working. Maybe I was banned because I work for the competition? :whistle67:

ETA: OK, I got in, but it's in spreadsheet form, not a scan like usual. So, it's gonna take me a little longer to type it up.

$3 Bisquick, 40 oz (Yay, Crabtree!)

You are too funny Diva! I can't believe you remembered! I am thrilled it is finally on sale. It's a little higher than it usually is but probably just because it's part of a catalina deal. I'll take it anyway at this point!
So, YYYAAAAYYYYYY!!!!

For Spokanites, I notice Rosaurs has the 710ml Propel 2/$1. Where are my Q's? lol

There are some Q's in the Relish that comes with the ads also, not Propel.

Does anyone know for sure if the Kraft in-ad coupons on pg#6 are mfq's or store coupons?

I would say they are manf. coupons. They have the same set up with the barcodes as regular manf. coupons have and don't look anything like Albies store coupon barcodes. Also, you can look up the barcode # and it is a manf. coupon. So yes they are, and no you can't use manf. coupons with them- they will all beep. BUT... they don't specifically say they are manf. coupons so some cashier's might push the other manf. one through just because they are unsure- but they shouldn't.

P&G "Register Rewards"
You mean J&J. Bandaids, Tylenol et al. are definitely not P&G products. :)

Just want everybody to notice that in store in front of designated items, Albies has color/glossy versions of the same coupons that are on the back page of the flyer. While at first glance those coupons look the same as the ones in the flyer...they are not. The glossy coupons do not say that they need to be used at Albies so are good everywhere - and the glossy coupons have an expiration date of 9/15 instead of 9/8 like the flyer ones do.

If you're not satisfied with this week's price match-up with the coupons in the flyer, maybe Albies will have a better sale next week and these glossy coupons could be applied to those prices then.

How interesting. In my morning paper there were glossy coupons, but they say "Redeemable at Albertsons", and they expire 9/8. I'll make sure to check out the ones in the store!:thanks7:

I was just coming to report today's Albies insert in the paper - you beat me. I would guess that this insert means that there will be NO doublers in Sunday's paper...the insert is a five day sale glossy insert - the kind we usually get in Sunday's paper. It recaps the week's sale prices on the front and the back is a reprint of all the Kraft coupons we already have.

(Safeway also has a recap of their weekly sale prices and a reprint of their super Qs in today's paper as well. Probably both stores are saving $ by not advertising in the more expensive Sunday paper.)

Here's the best deal I could come up with:

10 Grands biscuits 12.50
8 Brownie Mix 8.00

-7.00 Biscuits (4 $1/1 coupons & 3 $1/2 coupons)
-3.00 Brownies (4 $.75/2 coupons)

-5 ONYO Conagra

Pay $5.50, get $5 ONYO = $.50

Anyone hearing anything about doubles in the papers this weekend? This deal could be even better with those!

I wonder if they're not putting out a Sunday ad (and doublers) because of the holiday on Monday.

I'm sure the brownie coupons scan okay but are they really the ones that match the advertised product?

The coupons are for the Supreme brownie mixes - not the ones that are $1, unfortunately. Would not be a proper use of the coupon, even if it scans. Sorry.

I'm hoping for just the opposite! Hoping that because Labor day is usually a shopping weekend, they will put them out to boost sales. Who knows? Anyone ....... :shrug7:

Just a reminder: Today (Sunday, 9/6) is the last day of the Nature Valley granola bar Catalina and the GM fruit snacks catalina, in case you wanted to combine them with the GM deal this week.

Has anyone done $40 of GM stuff in one order and rec'd 2 $5 cats? It doesn't say '$20 or more' in the ad, but I wanted to see if anyone else has tried it. TiA!

To answer my own question - acc'd to the forums for Acme and Jewel, this did not work for 2 cats in one order. So, I didn't try it at Albies, either.
