Can I get a raincheck for a faRR like at CVS?

You won't get the RR unless the item is restocked before the RR promo ends. VERY RARELY a store manager will write the RR for a free item, but I've never had that happen personally. I believe the ads say "limited to items in stock" and they usually stick to that.
If the item is on sale this week, and the RR promo extends into next week, you should be able to get a RC for the sale price.

my stores are ALWAYS out of stock. It is very irritating. Riteaid accepts rainchecks for its rebate program. CVS offers rainchecks for FAECB when they are out. WAGs orders 2 of everything and shrugs when we come in and ask for them.

This is just the BIG reason I VERY seldom shop at WAG even though I haven even more WAG stores in my area than I do CVS stores.

Another is the VERY short expire date(s) on the RR.

Further, the "rules" for spending + use of mfg coupons.

More: the fact a RR from company A CANNOT be used to generate more RR on a totally different item from a TOTALLY differenty division of company A: ie. a cleaning product on a food product or personal care product.

That isn't necessarily true. The only RR that stipulates that you can't use it on that company's product is P&G. RRs can be rolled into another promotion by the same company unless there's an exclusion on the RR.

When you don't have access to a CVS, there are very few weeks that I don't go into a WAG store. Short exp. dates aren't an issue at that point.

As for the "rules for spending + use of mfg coupons" it's fairly simple. One MQ per item purchased. Use a filler item (.05 pencil, for example) and use both.

My Walgreens is awesome! They are mostly coupon friendly and have always given me rainchecks for FARR items, which are frequently out of stock (which is understandable considering that it is the only store for 30 miles). When I redeem the rainchecks they charge $.01 for the item, so even though I can't get any money makers that way, I can still get the items for as close to free as possible!

WAG was out of Fusion Razors $8.99 razors. They wrote me a raincheck for a price of $2.99. Now they are back in stock and the RR are still printing. If I try to buy these, will they sell them to me for $2.99, which is the price they marked on my raincheck? Or will they force me to buy them at the normal $8.99 price.

Whether $2.99 or $8.99, either way, the $6 RR should still print. I was wondering if they would refuse to honor the marked down $2.99 raincheck price since after the RR it would be $8.99-6=$2.99 anyway.

can you explain this a little more. I always thought that it was for the entire company....so can I use my chapstick (weyth) RR to buy Robitussion (weyth)?

And the same for the halls (cadbury) and the trident (cadbury)?

Anything accept P&G works?

They usually don't get the stuff back in-stock before the ad is over, so I ask the manager if they can call the other stores in the area and they do sometimes get them in for me (or whoever is there to get the product!):halloween10:

I have never used a RR on an item that is from the same company that also gives RR. But this can be a pain in the neck sometimes. Today I had a $10 Unilever RR that I wanted to use to buy the Ducolax Balance and Vaseline Sheer Infusion, but since Vaseline is also Unilever I didn't know if the Vaseline RR would print out. (The $10 Unilever RR was from the Dove deal earlier this week). If I had used the $10 unilever RR (from the Dove deal) to buy the Vaseline Sheer Infusion lotion, would the $7 RR for the Vaseline print out? Thanks for your help with this! :shrug7:
