I don't think they should have but hey what was I supposed to say? I used a $5 off any $5 purchase, and bought two of the 2oz soy candles and 8 pack of the bic pencils at .99 each. used my free coupons and the $1/2 bics I had it out to like a quarter or a little more cause of tax. Well for some reason it zeroed out the tax and was left at -.41 So she tells me its .41 and I said its actually -.41 do you need to fix that? Cause normally they just refund it to the store and I owe nothing and they owe nothing to me, well thats what other stores have done to me. So she opens the drawer and hands me .41. I said are you sure thats what your supposed to do shes like yea sure sure. I think they were bout to close and she really didn't care what happened the last ten minutes. I came home and told me boyfriend that kmart paid me to take these pencils :hysterical: Hes like WHAT?!

Ha, that's awesome. My very last run on the last super doubles, after coupons and all, they owed me .89! I don't know how it happened because I didn't use any Kmart cats and I thought everything rang up right...and some of the stuff I bought I would have paid a bit on too. Who knows. I had been eyeing these little cartons of milk duds when waiting in line but didn't want to pay the $1.xx for them. So I threw a box of those on and paid those chumps .39 and left! LOL.

Isn't it such a nice feeling? To me it's like the biggest accomplishment to achieve a transactions that's free or overage.
I've been using the $5/5 cat for all my purchases this doubles and have been in the negative each time. Once it was $2.57! I have a personal policy against getting money back by a store though. I feel as though it might jinx my luck with nice cashiers and managers so I just grabbed gum or told them not to worry about it as long as it didn't matter that their drawer was a little high.
The last two doubles I have never spent over .89 for a transaction most of which I got catalinas back for. I'm finally getting the hang of it only for it to end though. Bummer.

My hubby did a transaction today. It was negative 8 cents. The cashier asked another worker what she should do. "Just total it out. We can't PAY them to shop here." Another cashier says," Why not? We practically do anyway." I chuckled.
