My local Kmarts have minimal stock. They haven't restocked much since being cleaned out on the last event. Being that this may be the last doubles for a very long time I want to make sure to take full advantage. I purchased coupons during the last event for this event and I'm finding that there is hardly anything left to use the coupons on. Now I'm scrambling to find new deals and match up the coupons in the last few papers to new deals. It's driving me crazy. I already had a game plan and now most of it's gone down the drain...

Anyone else purchase coupons for things not yet restocked?

I don't find this problem with my Kmart. But it is Kmart, so I don't have very high expectations for them.

I have a bunch of protein bar coupons for ones that they apparently aren't going to carry anymore! My super k was completely redone overnight during the last doubles and they removed the shelf tag for those bars. I went to a different one that had just enough bars for me to do 3 coupons but I know there won't be anymore coming.
The kmarts didn't even restock the sodas and that one is odd since it's a distributor who stocks them, not the stores.
I have a feeling I'll be doing a lot of store hopping this week. I'd better gas up the car!

I would hope they would be stocked, but since it was only a week in between the last doubles, I highly doubt they will be stocked, but I am hoping. Going to a couple of different K-marts with my SIL to see how they are stocked.

I had this issue too! I was really disappointed because during the last doubles they had restocked pretty well. I might try the one a little north of me to see how it is, but I'm afraid I'm going to be stuck with a bunch of coupons.

I didn't purchase any coupons, but had a stack I have been holding onto to use this time around because every time I would go to purchase last time, everything was out, specifically the Ponds cleansing wipes and Vaseline Aloe lotion.

My closest store had everything restocked a couple days ago, including the items above. I was there at opening and was the first person down that aisle (both items are within about 6 feet of eachother). The lotion was gone. The shelf the aloe lotion sits on is one of the lower ones so I had to bend down to see to the back. As I was standing back up, I get greeted every so abruptly in the back by the cart of the lady who grabbed the ponds. No apology. She just wizzed past me and scooped them all up. I was totally thinking to myself how unimportant it was to her that she just smacked into me. Sorry to derail.... Anyway, back on point. Yes, my store had restocked. Though, with the lotion being gone when it was there 2 days ago, I'm thinking the staff probably put some aside for themselves and/or other customers had been in to move it some place else.

Anyway, I was pleased to go to a second store (one I've never been to at opening the first day of doubles) to find everything I wanted, Aloe lotion, ponds, more varities of Visine, Travel size Renu, etc. etc. I was a happy camper! So I'm pretty sure that this store restocked as well between each event.

I'm jealous of you that have gotten doubles near you for the last few months. My nearest Kmart has not had a double event since March.

It's what you get for taking the easy way out and looking for loopholes in the ad (4 item vs 4 coupon limit) rather than doing the hard work of walking the aisles like I did last Tuesday and focusing on the items that they have in stock and will be there on Sunday. But, I forgot, you veterans know everything...

Calm down. Did you forget your morning anti-rude pill?

I love how you assume I haven't walked the aisles. How do you think I knew that things weren't in stock? I just magically figured it out without doing leg work?

How do you figure it's a loophole? It's an understanding of the wording in an ad.

WOW.

I am not sure where this came from or why? I dont see how she is looking for an easy way out our loopholes and even if you think she is, this isnt the Hot Under The Collar Forum. Feel free to post a vent there. That is what that forum is for, not this one.

Everyone on this site "veteran" or new member has something to share and offer. Opinions will vary on many things but I think we can all agree that sharing info to get the deals is a great thing and that is hard to do when people are bashing each other unnecessarily.

Where did that come from? It's totally uncalled for. BTW, I'm a veteran (stockpile couponing since 2001) and I work my butt off when Kmart has SD. I don't claim to know everything and neither does anyone else on here. Last I knew, this board is for helping each other. Maybe this board isn't the place for you.

I asked a guy stocking shelves about the single serve Starbucks Fraps and he scanned the barcode on the empty shelf to check it out. He said there was no "reorder point" (I think that was the wording he used) for them. Apparently that means they will not be re-stocking and carrying the single size anymore.

Very funny, but the instructions say to send an opt out email, which I've done twice.

We had problems with the kmart restocking...but it was often stuff that they did have a lot off..it just was such a good price after the double that they all disappeared. I'm a lazy butt and don't like to get up early either to nab the good deals.

Often I'd get the few things super super cheap and then focus on things that I could get way cheaper like huggies overnights, with a $2.00 coupon doubled to $4.00. It won't be free (cause lets face it you never get those diapers free) but it sure was a sweet deal.

The easiest way to opt out is to not actively come to HCW and post. Duh. :rolleyes24:

And do you even know who Queenofthehive is???? If you really want, I'm sure she can send you packing real quick. If you dislike the site and the people on it, why are you wasting your time coming here and posting rude comments?

That was really uncalled for. Where did the OP even say ANYTHING about 4 items or 4 coupons? It was also very rude. OP simply wanted to know if anyone elses Kmart had not restocked. I don't think that deserved a rude comment. You have no idea whether she/he walked the aisles or not.

Way to put it Boydteam, I'm in the Saint Louis Area and have 4 kmarts I hit. With all the doubles Kmart has had the shelfs are empty of nearly every thing I can use or donate. I like cheap and love Free but don't have a bunch of time to waste walking in circles in the store. I check out the stores during th week and gather my coupons on Friday and Saturday nights, Last yesr I would have well over a hundred coupons to start sunday morning. Any more I have 2 maybe 3 items I would pick up at Kmart. I but any were between 10 and 16 papers every week so I don't buy coupons but I still have stacks of coupons clipped for kmart that will not be used because of the lack of stock. Good Luck

Boy the typeing needs work tonight, the post above was "I buy any were .......". Only my wife calls me a butt. I just finished going through the kmart ads and the same thing is on sale again and again. I needed to put together a highlight post for my blog and it looks like the last one I did. I'll stick with wag's at least they mix it up a little and with the RR's it is a game. I am a coupon stratgey educator and a good portion of the class is spent on RR, we mention Kmart but it does not take long to tell every one to check your favorite blog, clip and get there early if you plan on getting anything.
