On Tuesday I asked a CVS pharmacist if they had any promotions for $25 gift card with a new prescription and he said yes, I was surprised I didn't need a coupon!

Ask at your CVS local pharmacy and maybe they will have the same offer without a coupon.

Target had one for $10 about 1-2 weeks ago that did not expire till 8/31/09. Kroger and Tom Thumb (Randal's) have one out this week, but for transferred scripts only - $20 and $30 respectively. These do not expire till 9/30/09.

My advice - when you see one out, store it with your coupons. You never know..

I found this awesome coupon from Kmart : $25 giftcard for transferred Rx, up to $100, expires in December. I have not tried to use it, but will try soon.

I always ask for a giftcard at my CVS, and they never say no, even if I don't have a coupon. So I agree, just ask. Even more effective if you call ahead and tell them you're trying to figure out where you should fill it.

There was a $25 with any transferred prescription in the cvs ad this weekend. Can't remember who on HCW caught this gem, but in fine print of the coupon it reads "Receive a $25 CVS/pharmacy Gift Card when your NEW or transferred prescription is dispensed." I am going to try this today at Von's. (I need groceries more than I need HBA right now). Here's crossing my fingers :)

yesterdays rite aid ad had a set of 2 of the transfer coupons in it. my cvs takes them no problem! even on a new script.... never hurts to ask. I usually take a couple different ones in when I go and if they refuse the first I pull out the other LOL usually I have a 25 rite aid transfer and a 10 kmart new or transfer. never had a problem using the 25....

Sadly, I believe that was only in CA, not the rest of the country. :(

The Safeway ad that is good until 9/1 has a coupon for a $30 gift card for transferred prescriptions good until 9/30.

My Rite Aid ad has had 2 in them almost every week for the last 2 months and CVS will take them.
