Yesterday in Harris Teeter, several well dressed folks were having a conference in the frozen section and noticed my coupon binder. They came over to comment and the man said he could tell I was a "serious shopper". Turned out they were corporate Bloom doing research at the competition. When I found out they were from Bloom I told them all of us serious shoppers are watching closely for Triples to come back to Bloom. He said, "I'll see your comments get back to corporate"--and--"we'll have them (triples)". He said it like it is already in the works, but it can't hurt to call or write Bloom too. HTH

I'm in the part of SC that's had triples for 4,5 weeks now. I think the idea with on-going triples is a good one. If they can maintain their current customer base and add some regular couponers, hoping to get us in the habit of shopping there... picking up produce, etc, since we're there already... then it might work. Certainly, we all know they're losing major bucks on the triples when they do them monthly, since the stores are flooded and they can't keep the shelves stocked. That's got to be very annoying to regular customers. And face it, their regular customers are NOT bargain hunters, so we as couponers must just get under their skin. So, having regular, constant tripling, will slow down the flood of couponers, keep it even and regular and they can plan for it accordingly. Really! They can get the list of what coupons are coming out when and can order from their warehouses and be prepared for the onslaught. This isn't rocket science and it ain't their first rodeo.
Based on what little I've seen as a consumer here, most of flood of couponers has slowed to a manageable trickle and doesn't threaten to overtake the store from its regular customers. Seems like Bloom could have the best of both worlds, if they will but take it.

I've already written corporate about doing triples in the NC area again. I think Super Doubles is a waste of my time. I can find a 'few' good deals, but not enough to make me want to drive 30 min to my nearest Bloom store. My good deals dont out weigh the gas I'm spending when I go there.
