I called Kmart on this and they could not verify that this was good. Does anyone know if this is legitimate?

I did an offer like this in the past for a Kmart GC sponsored by Glamalert. The offer was for purchasing $50 of anything at Kmart. The response was so overwhelming that the offer was pulled after awhile and the mail-in info was gone. I had made my purchase quickly and sent my MIR right away. I did receive my $25 GC with no problems. I don't believe Kmart runs this MIR promotion. I can't explain why another company/organization does though. When I sent for mine, I had nothing to lose but a Kmart receipt for general merchandise items.
