I think once you take the quiz, it gives you a unique coupon code, so if you try to use another coupon with the same code, it will beep (I haven't printed this coupon yet, but with the auto refill quiz, I used 2 separate computers and each gave me different codes) Someone correct if I'm wrong :poke:

You are correct. The code is unique and the computer will pop up with a message saying coupon redeemed 9/27/09 (for example).

This makes a good transaction to use the $5/25 if you don't want the P&G products or don't have the coupons for them.

Then at wags the individual are $0.49 with the coupon where you can use the BOGO coupon. makes them .25 each for the two packs - not as good as .33 for an eight pack of singles!

I did the same thing, and had all kinds of problems at the register. The $1 off any covergirl even beeped, even though I clearly had CG products. And then of course it said "amount exceeded" or something when the cashier tried to enter in the 12.99 price for the blush. I thought it might have been because it was a coupon amount over $10, but even the manager had problems overriding it. He finally ended up entering it as a CVS coupon, but only for $12. After all the problems, I decided I wasn't going to fight that .99, but I wish it would have just all worked out right in the first place :shrug7:

I figured out a great deal on miralax. My son goes through this stuff. buy 1 miralax and 1 vaseline lotion and total is 26.98 minus the 5/25, the $1.00 cvs coupon and $5 mfg coupon and 1.00 cvs and 1.50 mfg coupon for miralax and you pay about 13.48 and get back 9 ecb's . That's a great deal for that stuff.

I have only been to my CVS a couple times, they are new here and the cashier is not at all nice. He does not like to take manufacturer's coupons at all when I am using a CVS coupon- like the $5 off $25 one.

I actually called CG before I called CVS to make a complaint and they told me that the coupon can be used for any face product that was equal to, less than or more than the price of the foundation and that it would automatically max out at $15 since that was the highest suggested retail price for any of their face products. They are sending me a coupon good for a free CG product, CVS just basically said they were sorry for my experience and to have a good day.

I don't think it would beep. As far as I know, the only $/$$ coupons that are tracked by or connected to your card are the ones you get in your email. So, you should be fine using all of them. Congrats on getting so many of such great coupons!

YMMV - my 2 stores had the Hand Renewal marked for $1 also. So each store had 2 and I purchased them using my $1/1 Q from my Home Made Simple booklet and got them for Free. Some people are saying that their stores do not have them marked at $1.

1. I don't know if it would work - ad definitely pictures and specifically says Bounty Basic. Perhaps your store substituted Bounty big rolls for the same price, but unless that was approved by CVS I don't know that they'd push the ECB for you. The ECB deals usually try to get you to buy items at prices lower than reg CVS prices, but higher than grocery store sale prices or megastore prices. The 6-roll Bounty big rolls for $6.00 is a good buy - they're 2-ply vs. 1-ply basic. Reg price is $10.49 vs $7.99 for Basic as on CVS website. If you can't call until Friday you risk a replacement product not being available in your store if customer service does not force it. I had to go to my 3rd and last available choice for HE Tides when I did it this afternoon.

2. This option is cheating the system and will make it harder for you and everyone else in the long run.

3. This would be the option I chose. I would out of fairness go back to the store you made the purchase to do the return. If you really want the paper towels, see if they have the right ones when you go back - they still had them in my CVS this afternoon. Look on the regular shelves vs. the display areas.
