The ad just says Barilla Pasta 12 to 16 oz. I think the piccolini is usually ingluded but not the whole wheat.

Ideal sweetener is the 50ct packets.

And yes I am still typing...

Here is a deal scenario using the Swiffer Rebate:

Buy 3 Swiffer Refills - $12
Buy 1 Mr. Clean cleaner - $2.50

Use 3 $1/1 Swiffer Duster refill from Home Made Simple coupon booklet, or 3 .50/1 Swiffer refill coupon here - 20- 50 SWIFFER REFILL OR DUST & SHINE COUPONS EX9/30/09 - eBay (item 330353965112 end time Sep-20-09 08:48:22 PDT) (http://cgi.ebay.com/20-50-SWIFFER-REFILL-OR-DUST-SHINE-COUPONS-EX9-30-09_W0QQitemZ330353965112QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_Defa ultDomain_0?hash=item4ceaa17838&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14)

Use 1 .50/1 Mr. Clean coupon from 8/30 P&G

Final Price after q's: $10.50

Receive $5 catalina and send in for the $5 Swiffer Rebate

If you can get multiple catalina from this deal do this:

Buy 5 Swiffer Refills - $20
Buy 3 Mr. Clean products - $7.50

Use 5 0.50/1 coupons from here 20- 50 SWIFFER REFILL OR DUST & SHINE COUPONS EX9/30/09 - eBay (item 330353965112 end time Sep-20-09 08:48:22 PDT) (http://cgi.ebay.com/20-50-SWIFFER-REFILL-OR-DUST-SHINE-COUPONS-EX9-30-09_W0QQitemZ330353965112QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_Defa ultDomain_0?hash=item4ceaa17838&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14)

Use 3 0.50/1 Mr. Clean coupons from 8/30 P&G

Final Price: 19.50 - Receive 2 $5 Catalina and Send in for the $10 Swiffer rebate

That would be a .50 moneymaker, although I don't count on being able to get the Catalina twice in one transaction!!

I just called and they do NOT have to be on one transaction - just original receipts. The CS guy took my name and number so if we run into problems, perhaps what he told me can be reviewed. He seemed pretty intelligent and sure of himself.

My head is spinning. This looks like a great ad!

Last time GE did the 10/$10 Barilla the Piccolini and Whole Grain WERE included. I know because I still have 10 boxes or so left in the pantry. We've been trying to use them up since we're moving buuuuut I can't pass up more free pasta!

The Kraft/Nabisco deal has caught my eye since today I found a tearpad for a free Capri Sun WYB 2 Nabisco multipacks. Combine that with the coupon booklet/calendar coupons, it should be a decent deal. It would be even better if you could earn multiple cats in one transaction.

Coupons.com has a printable coupon for $.60 off 3 Yoplait thick & creamy yogurts. Be careful I used it the otherday and it did not double correctly. It scanned for $.60 and doubled for only $.40 for a total of $1.00 off. I didn't have time go to cs and I don't why, but be aware.HTH

The L'il Drums (drumsticks) didn't double dip for me this week for the cat (i.e. the $3 advertised special this week AND the $1 when you buy two packages). I only got the $3 cat. In the case of the fruit snacks, I think the weekly special will override the other one.

Yep, I only buy the little ones because they're a guilt-free dessert for me. CS didn't believe me about the $1 cat, even though I told them it's on their website, so I left empty handed.

If anyone can verify the Fruit by the Foot does work for both cats, that would be great! :)

A couple of Sunday's ago I gave CS a copy of the cat deals from the GE website because I knew they weren't informed from previous conversations. I told them where I got it and asked if they'd like to have my copy. It must be frustrating to them to be left in the dark and customers know more about the programs.

Went to Giant Eagle today. The Dr. Pepper is included in the buy four 12 pack cans of Coke get 1 free, making them 5 for 12. Certain Dr. Pepper boxes have $1 off coupons, making this 5 for 7 or I had coupons for $1 any 2 coke products so used 2 of those and 1 Dr. Pepper and got them 5 for 9. Still pretty cheap either way for Coke.

Also, I'm not sure how many of you like Crystal Light, but they have individual containers with 3 packets in each container and are supposed to be 25 cents each. Mine rang up 10 cents each, which means 30 packets of Crystal Light for a dollar. I was very happy, considering you pay 1.97 for 10 packets at Walmart.

Also, I found a display with a bunch of coupons for buy any glade scented oil candles tin and get a scented candles refill pack free. And, on certain Lysol products, there was a packet of Coupons totaling $4 off of Lysol Products. Pretty good day of shopping for me.

Hi. I was wondering, is it only the Swiffer Sweeper wet or dry refills 12ct or 16ct that are on sale?

I went today and those were the only "refills" that were signed with the sale price. I was hoping to get the wetjet refills but they weren't signed as being on sale.

Anyone know for sure? My store doesn't always have all the sale signs up.

Thanks.

The WetJet refills were not part of the deal-wish they were.

BTW, maybe I missed the Chex Mix deal wording-you don't have to buy the water, you get a cpn for the water from the Catalina machine.

I'm finally close to being stocked up again, despite what my husband wants-he doesn't understand the deals, makes remarks that we have too much salad dressing(12) and too much cereal bars(10 boxes) and too much Mr Clean (6), but I can't keep enough chocolate in the house FOR HIM. He found it in my sewing cabinet, in my pantiliner supply. I finally hid it with my yarn-he'll never go there.

That and I can't keep enough OJ. I am not sure what happens to it, but between my son and my husband, I go through a gallon in 6 days.

Wow your DH would have a stroke at my house. I have way more than 12 salad dressings, at least 40 boxes of cereal, and 30 boxes or more of cereal/granola bars and not a single ounce of choclate to be found.

I am curious as to what your DH was doing in your pantyliner supply to find the chocolate though..

When he gets upset at the "stockpile" and wants to count how much we have, he pulls everything out in sections and then he finds things. Problem is he doesn't put things back neatly.

Why does he get upset about the Stockpile? My DH thinks I need commited but he loves the fact that he can just reach in the cupboard and pull out another bottle of whatever, whenever he finishes something. He does think my 200 Velveeta cups are a tad excessive though. And I can't wait to see the look on his face when he sees the 40 boxes of piccolini this week.

Just an FYI the cleaning cat did not print for me the first time - we thought it may be b/c of the hawaaiin sceneted febreeze even though it rang up as "air effect".

I bought fruit by the foot - I got 5 of them and got the $3.50 cat. After the cat it worked out to .74 a box.

Also did the piccolini from Barilla. Got six boxes. Have more coupons coming...cant wait to get stocked up on pasta.

The chex mix worked out to $1 a bag - bought four and got the cat for the 12 pack of water. I had a .50 off each and a 1.00 off the choc. variety. Our store had a lot of flavors to pick from. My kids get sick of the regular stuff - plus my MIL makes "monkey food" that they love so this is a cheap imitation. I got the choc/trail mix and the sour cream. The sour cream bag had a huge dent at Tminus 20 minutes home from the store so I think they liked it.

OH and there were FREE kraft BBQ peelies on the velveeta shells and cheese (3/$5) boxes when you buy two boxes. The coupon for the kraft shells was buy two so I did the deal twice and got two free bbq sauce.

Haven't tried for the 2 cats just because last time I couldn't. I was figuring history probably would repeat itself.

I did the baby food 3x - $.30/jar isn't bad - especially when you pay for it with cats. I did the Cheerios mix and have my cat for the water and I did 2 Mr.C and Febreeze trans. No Fruit Snacks this time. We just don't eat them enough to keep buying. I did get 4pkg of Ideal and 3 boxes of Barilla. I'm still waiting on more Barilla Q's - only 20 though. I still have about 10 boxes from last time, so... I think that is about it for this week for us. I did find $.55/1 Dr. Pepper 2 liter peelies though! Oh and I will be going for the 5/$12 Coke deal, but w/ Dr. Pepper since I still have 4-5 peelies it will make it a decent deal.

Okay, this is my first post. I pretty much only shop at giant eagle and just half hazardly coupon if it happens to work out. I am going to try to start matching up to sales and hope to start stockpiling things that we use a lot of.

I have a question on the pasta that is 10 for $10. I can see that if I have the $.50 off of one coupon then it is free because of doubling? What about a $1 off of 2 coupon? Does that get doubled because it is off of 2?

At this point I only have one set of coupons from the current paper. Is is worth trying to buy some off of ebay...would it get to me in time? This is one item that we could eat 1-2 times a week...well worth stocking up on for me.

I am trying to get organized and figure out the best way to do this.

Thanks,

The $1/2 will not double, unless you are in one of the ohio stores that double $1 coupons....So with that coupon, you would pay .50 a box. However, some area's got .50/1 whole wheat pasta instead of the $1/2. It's kind of a tossup whether or not you'd get the coupons on time. Personally, I would try it, because even if they don't come in time, theres a good chance that there will be another sale before the q's expire. Good luck.

I would definitely try and find the 50¢/1 coupons if you can. I looked at ebay this morning and it was slim pickin's. Even if you don't get them before the sale is over I believe the regular price is $1.39 a box so even at regular price with the coupons is still a decent deal.

I generally get the new ads on Monday (I stalk my mom's mail person to do so). That normally gives everyone plenty of time to order the necessary coupons.

When you go to the store, check to see if any of the picollini varieties is out of stock. If it is, you can get a raincheck. That way, if you do find coupons and they don't come in time, you'll still be able to do the deal.

Thanks,
Daisy

Everyone has pretty much answered your questions, so I just wanted to say 'Hi' and 'Welcome'!!!!

Does anyone now if the Mr. Clean Multi-surface is included in the catalina? Is it also on sale for $2.50. The coupons coming in the 8/30 inserts and from the home made simple coupon booklets are for the multi-surface not for the all purpose. :shrug7:

Also, is the dawn plus included in the sale??

Yes, the Mr. Clean Multi-Surface, both spray and liquid is included in the cat. Also, I bought the Dawn plus potscrubber yesterday and it worked. I bought 2 Mr. Clean Multi-Sufrace Antibacterial liquid bottles and 2 Dawn Potscrubber. Used (2) 75¢ Mr. Clean q's and (2) 50¢ Dawn q's. OOP was $5 + tax and I got the $5 cat.

Buy 2 Mr. Clean at $2.50 each
Buy 2 Dawn Plus at $2.50 each

Use 2 0.75/1 Mr. Clean coupon
Use 2 0.50/1 Dawn Plus coupon

Final Price: $5 plus get a $5 catalina - so free!! WOOHOO!!!

No, the Dawn Simple Pleasures and Direct Foam Pumps are not included in the sale (not sure about the cat). At my store they are marked as "New Items" and are $3.49/each.

I can't remember if the Hand Renewal varieties are included. I don't like them so I didn't even bother to intentionally look at them.

ETA: The GE I shopped at doesn't stock the Pure Essentials but other stores may.

I got hanover pretzel snacks with the coupon - I think they were 2/$6 - INSIDE was a secret agent coupon with all kinds of good coupons. Juicy juice and crayola for sure.

I got the 26 piccolinis - in three separate trips for free.
Got the barilla whole wheat pasta for free. My kids dont like it with tomato sauce but will eat it in oriental style dishes or something with a brown or dark sauce, go figure, but they eat it. I got ten of them today. Going back to get more.
Also got the lunchables for .38 for two.

I got a well full (I have a mini van with a well in the back where the seats fold down) of groceries for $11. I got the 20 piccolini, 10 whole wheat pastas and 10 lunchables, 3 coffeemate creamers (.50 each after coup!), 2 trays of western style ribs (had $3 off meat dept coupons), 5 lb potatoes, gal of milk (free cat), 12 pack ge water (free cat), 2 bags of triple size cotton balls and I think that was it - for a total of $11 and change out of pocket.

Everyone in line was remarking on my savings. One lady followed me to my car and asked how I do it.

Hello everyone

I have to share a little story. I was in the Fox Chapel GE yesterday during my lunch break and picked up 5 Barilla piccolini pastas and 1 SOBE lifewater. I didn't feel like shopping much but wanted to get the freebies while I could. Anyway, a gentleman behind me told me in a conspiratorial tone that Community supermarket had the same pasta on sale for .89 and I could have gotten it cheaper there. I then replied that I was getting them for free. He was so impressed and asked me how I did it.

It is so cool when a strange is encouraging, isn't it?

Have a great day everyone

I can confirm the Renewel Dawn is on sale and produces the cat; my store didn't have the Pure Essentials.

I know someone else mentioned the Frebreze giving her troubles and I can confirm that also. :giggle2::hectic1: I got the Orange and Hawaiian(?).

Has anyone tried the Kashi Honey Sunshine Cereal? I see it's 2/6 in this ad and I have some $1.50/1 cpns making it $1.50 a box. Is it worth it?

We got a box a couple of weeks ago and I don't really like it. DH tried it to and said it was ok - kind of tolerable. They are kind of like a honeycomb cereal with less flavor. I have a little one and I give it to her instead of the Gerber Puffs.

I actually liked it better than Honeycomb of which I never was a big fan. lol Three of my four kids really liked the Honey Sunshine too. It reminds me not only of Honeycomb, but also Cap'n Crunch without the extra crunch and not as sweet.

I didn't buy any yet with my coupons; I was hoping for a better deal. ;)

I've tried it and like it. I might be biased though because I cannot eat any other type of cereal because they are loaded with preservatives and vitamins. I do agree with what someone else said that it does have a little less flavor but I'm thankful to have some boxed cereal I can eat. I don't think it tastes bad at all.

Piccolini are the smaller sized pastas. There are wheels, penne and farfalle. The box will say Piccolini.

Sorry if this is a repeat: Just got back from GE and there are 2 liters of Dr. Pepper & Diet Dr. Pepper that have $0.55/1 peelies on them that will double. They are on sale 3 for $4.00, then $1.00 off when you buy 3. So here is what I got. . . .

6 bottles of Diet Dr. Pepper = $8.00-$2.00 (for the sale ($1.00 off for every 3 I bought)) = $6.00 - $6.60 (double coupon - they double for $1.10 since the $1.00 sale is taken off as a separate line items and the price of the item is not reduced by the sale, so they paid me $.60 to take 6 bottles of my favorite pop.

The shelf was wiped out, but I saw some pop stacked in another aisle. I may just have to go back later.

I forgot to check the pop for peelies while I was there earlier. But I will need to go back tomorrow anyways to get the rest of my Mr. Clean. I think I got the last of the Swiffer this morning. I think the grand total was 15 wet ones and 12 dry. God only know how many mr. Clean I will end up with, I probably have at least 15 already and god only knows have many more Q's to use.
