Unfortunately these coupons do beep, I think they are set to the $1 off the multipack instead of a free can so the $1 exceeds the cost of the single can. They have to be pushed through.

I don't recall a shelf tag, my notice was a catalina printout. End date 9/13. Insert free coupon expires 9/14. OYNO expire 2 weeks from date obtained.

While I have experienced this kind of beep many times, this is not one where the register is questioning the price, it actually says that the coupon exceeds the price. It requires some creative "cashiering and button pushing" to force them.

Are the cans cheaper than .89 (the max. val of the q)??

Some cans are clearanced at.50, the rest are around .70. But the coding of this coupon is for $1 since it for a free can or $1 off a multipack. So the $1 value of the coupon causes the register to say that the coupon value exceeds the price.

Did anyone else have a total hard time using these coupons at FL? Today I went in to use the last 9 of my coupons (couldn't get there before the catalina deal ended) and it was the biggest hassel. First the cashier was telling me it was for 12 cans. (I politly corrected her) She then called over the front end manger who told me that they were "suppose" to only take one of the coupons per transaction (Is this a new policy???!). Anyways after total hassel and two people who couldn't figure out what to do... I could only use 6 of my 'free can' coupons on 9 cans. .. Instead of them just adjusting the coupon. Total hassel.

I probably bought Mighty Dog 10 times during this catalina. It was frustrating. When I bought .50 clearance cans, one manager preferred to use half my coupons and input the $1. One store insisted on doing $1 for all of them until my balance dropped below 0. Some cashiers/CSMs clearly didn't know how to adjust the coupon or if they should. I hope FL isn't trying to limit the number of coupons used, as that has been one of my frustrations with Lowes Foods (limiting coupon usage to 4 per identical item no matter if the items were with free coupons or coupons that did not need to double). Sorry for your rough time. If I hadn't thought that these would be a hassle anywhere, I might have been tempted to buy them somewhere else just because FL has a harder time than most with coupons that beep. But I perservered and got my free dog food and MM OYNO.
