I took a break from CVS-ing last december because school got a little tough, but now that I finally graduated I am coming back with the CVS deals again... But I couldnt help to noticed that things have changed a little bit since last year, and I would like it if somebody would up date me on the changes please.
For example, I have seen that seem that everybody doesnt have the same ad, and I live in MI, and I wonder how many CVS ads are in the country? sometimes I wonder if I am looking at the right ad for my state. Are they different according to what region you live?
Another thing that I noticed is that there is not the montly ECB book anymore... Is there any replacement for this?...
And I also noticed that CVS has printable coupons and I wonder if this CVS coupons could be use with a MF coupon for the same product.
Thank you for all your help, I will appreciate it a lot!!!

Hi!! I will try to help and answer what questions I can!! :)
For example, I have seen that seem that everybody doesnt have the same ad, and I live in MI, and I wonder how many CVS ads are in the country?
About the ad, it seems that there is a national ad that is valid for the majority of the country, but certain items differ from ad to ad. The California ads are a major example. The sou. cal. ad was widely different this week. But we live by the Great Lakes, and so far I have not found that my ad differed any from the ones I typically find being scanned here at HCW.
Another thing that I noticed is that there is not the montly ECB book anymore... Is there any replacement for this?...
I don't know much about this, but there are a few ECB deals that apply for the month in the CVS monthly clipfree coupon books.
And I also noticed that CVS has printable coupons and I wonder if this CVS coupons could be use with a MF coupon for the same product.
Yes, you can combine CVS store coupons w/MF coupons for better savings!!!
Another thing that has changed, (to my chagrin), is that now the ECBs are ringing up as CVS Man. coupons, consequently you have to pay tax.
Well, hope that helps!!!! :wavehi:

I would check out Seedlady's wagon train. It has a lot of information that might help you get back up to speed.
I thought the coupons on the CVS website were considered manufacturers coupons but it would be great if that is not the case.
The monthly ecb book has been traded in for the monthly "clip free" coupon book which I don't think gives as good a deal but I guess that is a matter of opinion.
Some stores start the next weeks sale on Saturday but you have to be sure all your ecb's print because sometimes they won't actually start printing until Sunday even though the store says they have activated the sale. I hope this helps. The ads are usually posted on HCW early and that gives you a chance to look at other people's ideas for deals and plan your own and gather your coupons for that week. Good luck.

Yes, we lost the monthly ECB book. The replacement is a monthly clip free coupon book, which is worthless pretty much.
Another thing is that CVS is catching up on glitches in their system when products start producing ECB when they are not supposed to. Let's say we had a deal on sunglasses, buy 2 get 10 ECB. Well, some glass wipes that cost $0.99 each were producing 10 ECB if you bought 2. Hidden deal and big time MM. Within a day or two they were pulled off the shelves by CVS. This has happend quite a few times now when CVS pulls such products off their shelves. I guess economic crisis... Before they would just let it slide through the week. Not anymore... So, if you hear of a hidden MM like this one - GO AND GET IT NOW!
Welcome back!
