My daughter lives in Durham, NC and is just starting to get interested in couponing. She just experienced her first big Harris Teeter purchase today and was really excited. She used mostly IP's and some Q's that I sent to her, but she needs to know how to get the Sunday inserts like Smart Source and Red Plum. She is unsure of which paper has the most coupons, Durham or Raleigh or others? Also, where to buy the paper and when it first comes out. I thought maybe some on this Harris Teeter forum may be living in her area and could offer advise. Thanks!

She needs to buy the News and Observer paper. Tell her to go to Walgreens because they sell the Sunday paper for $1.40 vs. $2 off the rack.

My good friend just moved out there so I'll have to pass on the information! Thanks!

I find that the Durham Herald Sun has the same coupons as the N&O (but N&O has better writing & articles) and the Herald Sun is available at the Dollar stor for only $1. So when I need lots of inserts I get the Herald at the Dollar store here in Durham.

I was told today that the Dollar Tree also sells the News and Observer for $1. I don't know how they do it but I'm sure gonna buy mine from there from now on. I'll report back on Monday and let you know if this is true.
