My family just relocated from Florida to Yakima, Wa. I am used to shopping (mainly) at the commissary but there isn't one here and I am in over my head trying to figure out where to shop. Thankfully, the produce is cheaper but everything else seems much more expensive. I have only gotten a few things and I really don't have the time to go check prices at all the stores before I buy groceries.
Any advice?

If you know what stores you have in your area, check out those store forums here. With ads and coupon matchups posted, that should give you a good idea of the best place to start.
Have you met anyone on here who lives in your area? Or do you go to church, have any kids? People you come across who have lived there for a while should be able to tell you where the best place to shop is.

I know that there are members here who live in Yakima. Someone should be able to help you.
Here are a couple of quick suggestions:
-Change the title of your thread to include the city name. You should get a lot more input from locals that way.
-Click on the "search" tab and type in "Yakima". You should be able to find some members pretty quickly that way.
Hope you find someone who can help you!!

Thanks!
I haven't been here in a while so I will change the title and hope that helps. I've tried to pm or reply to people in my area but haven't gotten any response. We don't know anyone yet and the kids don't start school until the 1st. I was thinking last night though that looking through Sunday paper ads should help me out too.
