I was at the Anderson, SC, Bloom last night and while watching the person in front of me check out, noticed a pile of cats sitting on the counter. $3 off your next purchase of $55 or more. The cashier scanned one for the customer, who didn't have her own to present, thus saving the customer (who had spent over $110) an extra $3.
So when I got up to the register, before handing her a single coupon, I asked about the $3 off coupon. I was at $48.xx....had only used 18 coupons because I had decided that there wasn't anything available that I wanted to buy--- and quickly decided to grab two bags of the Chex Mix that were more OOP than I wanted... and a $2 bag of Bloom chips... right there at the checkout. Then, bec I was .04 less than $55, bought the Diet Coke I had been trying to ignore. So I was finally over $55... she tried to scan the coupon... it wouldn't work. Called over the CSM who overrode it... but with a code that came up on my receipt as $4 off $65 purchase!!!! LOL... Have no idea how that happened, but I was glad, since it paid for the chips and DC I didn't have a coupon for... and the extra bit of the Chex Mix that I thought was too high... and I used my Chex Mix coupons to cover the $3 (2 50 cent coupons tripled) the rest. Kind of crazy.
BUT THEN....after I gave her all my coupons and paid, she handed me the new $3 off $55 catalina that printed with my receipt!!!
So, just thought I'd give you all a heads up about that cat! It was awesome to have them giving me money for spending money... and using coupons at their store! :biggrin::biggrin::biggrin::biggrin::BigHand:
