Questions about the $20 Kraft Rebate

This is the catalina Kraft rebate that printed at the Cubs register I'm refering to, not any of the other Kraft rebates that may be out there. My questions are:

1) I don't see where we need to send in any UPCs is that correct? I have 5 bags of cheese I won't use up before the rebate expires, so I sure hope I don't have to cut the upcs off of those. :biggrin:

2) My receipt total is less than $25 even though I spent the $25 to get the rebate and $5 cat to print, but after coupons it is just under $25 will they not accept it since the offer was to spend $25 to get the rebate?

Correct - you don't need to send UPCs! (I guess they don't need the extra proof since the catalina rebate form only spits out if you bought the correct items.)

I bought 10 boxes of crackers at $2.50 each and then used 5 BOGO coupons and that was all I bought in the transaction so my total was $12.50. I'm pretty sure we should get the full $20. I've been rebating for almost 20 years now and this happens to me a lot (Where I buy rebate items with coupons) and for years I have always gotten the full amount back. The only exception was one of those glucose meter rebates and some other weird over-the-counter medicine product -- don't remember which right now. I've got to assume that we must qualify for the $20 or else the catalina machine wouldn't have spit out the rebate form.

I just want to add that whatever you do -- do NOT call Kraft and ask!!! That only has the potential to get some higher-up person thinking about this issue and then telling rebate processors to reject our rebates if we paid with coupons! So -- just send it in and then call ONLY if you don't get the $20.

My crt are under $25 and I'm not concerned. If it printed out I would assume you qualify. No upc is great , I too bought cheese.

Just for future reference - u can freeze cheese. So if u have to send the UPC on a future rebate, keep this is in mind. Just use freezer bags - I don't think it changes the flavor much - the texture a bit tho so I use it for dishes where it's melted.
