I don't know what happened, but this did not work at my Lowe's. I had the printed list from the instasave site, they other instasave's worked, but not the school supply ones. The cashier figured it was because the total of the item would have been 0.00 or neg. My register total wasn't a negative. Does anyone know why it would work at one lowe's and not another?????

So the manager called corporate whose response was "oh no, we thought we had the school supplies fixed." So he store couponed the instasaves off. He said that another option would have been to have a credit sitting on my card for the next purchase. So I would think you can call in and get that credit. Do the sales end today? If not I think I would wait until at least tomorrow if for those who have not done this deal.

I ended up calling corp and got the same infor as thankful28. There has been a problem with the school supplies. If I had not had the cashier void those items, then they could have looked up my transaction with my card # and then credited it to my card. The promo goes on until the 25th ( i think) so next time I am in I will get the school supplies and try again.

With the Instasaves, you have to wait until they come off your account. It takes a day or 2. If you click on the "My Account" tab, you will see individual dates that you redeemed the Instasaves. Wait until it gets updated and then the Instasaves will disappear from the "Offers" page. If it is available for you to use again, you will be able to add that coupon to your account again. I am still waiting for mine to drop off to see if I can add them again.

Never mess with the in-store CS. Just use the online contact through email or call them with the phone number listed online. They are super quick to get it handled.

I've never had success with the in-store CS, and it seems like most people on here have the same experience. They don't seem like they are that interested to help.

Don't give up on Lowes. They got some great deals...well...every once in a while. :biggrin:

It does seem the over-the-phone people are nicer, but I don't like waiting to get my money back on the next transaction, as it could be a month before I go back. ;)

NOTHING. the lady commented on my use of the $5/$25. I used it 5 times last week. :giggle2: Apparantly it was suppose to be a one time only reward. :biggrin:. Hey that is not your fault. If you go into LF and spend $25/day anyway it is not like you have a choice whether or not you use it. If you use your card it is going to come off automatically.

Course now they might look into it to make sure it is only a one time use thing.

Same thing happened to me. I just emailed them and they emailed me back a few hours later and said I had a $2 credit on my card next time I use it...Then I got a call the next morning too.

Mine were several at the end. I think I jammed the computer with all the instasaves and things I had on sale. I had around 25 things and all of them were on sale and instasave. It literally jammed the computer and it stopped giving any discounts, even the sale prices were not there. I had to go back to the store and call instasave both. Since a couple of the items would have been free with the instasave and sale price, the csm pulled out the ol' well I'll make this up as I go routine and tried to tell me instasave wouldn't come off. I knew better, I just smiled and said "oh really, well that's okay, it's still a good deal." Then I called the instasave number when I got home. No sense arguing with those who make it up as they go!:biggrin:
