I think Albies carries a 1 ct. brita water filter. If they do then the 25% off might make a great deal with the $5 off any brita coupon from the "Back 2 School Survival Guide" booklet found in the last couple weeks. I'll have to check that out!

Thanks SB!!! :)

Okay, I am confused on the rebate thing. Is the Kraft one in this ad the same one as in the "Save up to $55 Throughout the School Year" yellow coupon booklet? Reason I ask is that the $20 rebate in the booklet specifies how many boxes of cookies, crackers, drinks and Easy Macs you need to buy. The other is just a mix of Kraft items of your choice, right? :help22:Jessica

the kraft 5/20 is a differant one than the one in the yellow booklet..the 5/20 does give you a list of what products are eligible, but can but any combo of those..I did it last night, worked perfect. got my $5 oyno, and rebate form for the $20 to mail in. wish I had know they were going to put stuff on sale for it this coming week, would have waited, LOL.....still got a good deal, and always worth doing again as is stuff I needed, just for the $5 oyno part.

someone on S* called kelloggs rebate center, and they said per household, per kelloggs different PO box submission address.....(there is 4)

i suppose its technically YMMV, but the rebate people said it was OK.

Here are the four different rebates that are known

1 - online form
2 - redplum 8/2 form
3 - form in various store circulars (Kmart and Shaws that I know of but I'm sure more)
4- coupon booklet in stores with "fuel for school" display

They all go to different P.O. boxes and it has been confirmed with Kellogg's that you can do all 4 rebates.

what Pack a smile coupon booklet? I've missed that one.

This is the yellow coupon booklet that many of us picked up at Albies, Walmart, etc. The front says "Save Up To $55 Throughout the School Year." You can also request one of these booklets through the Kraft website. Inside are 2 different rebate forms for $20 each. One of them is good through December and the other starts in January.

For this rebate, you have to buy 10 crackers or cookies, 5 capri sun and 5 individual easy mac cups.

I'm thinking this is a great time to buy the items for the first rebate in that book. You could buy 10 Go Cups @ 1.00 each, 5 capri suns @ 2.00 each, and 5 easy mac cups @ 1.00 each in one transaction, filling all requirements for the rebate. That's $25 so you would get the $5 oyno. Add the many mq's floating out there and it would be a money maker.

Does anyone think the Kraft Naturals Cheeses would be included in the big Kraft promo? That's all the Kraft cheese Q's I have (except for singles, but I don't usually buy those). Just trying to pair up any Q's to make the promo even better! I found some Planters nuts Q's, 1.00/2, Save 0.50 on Kraft cheese, any, wyb Ritz peelies, and $2.00 on meat/poultry wyb any 2 participating Kraft products, incl. A-1 and mayo in the ad.

One more question, but I think I know the answer - does using an OYNO affect your "spend X amount" like a store q would? I don't want to have a problem using one and it taking my total below the minimum spending amount.

don't forget about the Post Select cereal catalina that becomes effective 8/14......

someone bought up all the Lebanon Express papers in town today, as soon as the paper came out. This is one of the few small town papers left, and with coupons. I did very well at Albertsons this afternoon on the Kraft deal! Here were my scenarios:

1)
2 Ritz Crackerfuls $2.50/ea (2 $1 off coupons, 8/9 RP)
2 Jell-O $1.25/ea (1 $.50 off IP coupon )
4 Easy Macs $1.00/ea (2 $1/2 IP coupons)
1 Kraft Mac & Cheese $.49/ea
2 Kraft Singles $2.50/ea (1 $1/2 coupon 8/9 RP)
2 8oz cream cheese 3/$5 (1 $1/2 coupon 8/9 RP
3 7oz Kraft Naturals cheese 3/$5 (1 $1/2 coupon 8/9 RP)

total OOP for this transaction: $19.35

2)
2 11.5 oz Planters Mixed Nuts $3.00/ea ($1.00/2 coupon)
4 Jell-o $1.25/ea (2 $.50 coupons 7/26 SS)
1 Yuban 33 oz coffee $6.99/ea
1 8 oz Kraft grated parmesan cheese $3.99/ea
1 16 oz Velveeta $3.99/ea ($1.00 coupon)
used $5.00 OYNSO coupon

total OOP for this transaction: $17.97

3)
10 assorted boxes Nabisco crackers $2.50
used $5.00 OYNSO coupon
used 3 $5.00 OYNSO coupons from previous week's transaction

total OOP for this transaction: $6.50

Total amount of money made on the 3 transactions, including the $5.00 OYNSO I have left from my last transaction: $19.62

I will have a rebate come here, one to my son in college, and one to my mom. I hope these scenarios help someone figure out their best "plan of attack". :whistle67:

I don't see how they can deny the rebate. The ad clearly shows all the sale items will qualify. How is the average shopper that reads the weekly ad going to know any different. They don't read message boards and see official lists. :shrug7:Plus the receipt I have for the Digiorno pizza just says "pizza" on the receipt. I wouldn't think the A-1, etc. would trigger the rebate form if it wasn't a qualifying item.

Here is some info regarding the kraft promo. thanks to utahdiva for this info.

I spoke with my contact at Albertson's and she gave me more information regarding the Kraft Promo:

Here is the correct address you need to mail the rebate form & receipt to:

Kraft Foods-SuperValu Back-to-School MIR Offer #511-5

P.O. Box 753854

El Paso, TX 88575-3854
If you already mailed in your rebate, the Rebate center in Ohio has been instructed to send them back to the Return address, which is Albertson's corporate in Idaho. They will then forward them along to the Texas address. Please feel free to call 1-877-932-7948 with any concerns.
There are over 1,900 UPC codes that supposedly trigger the $5 catalina & rebate form, however with as many people as we've seen NOT have the forms print, I'm just not sure they're all working! If your $5 coupon or rebate offer does not print, instead of calling Catalina marketing, please call Albertson's at 1-877-932-7948. They want to be kept informed of any issues shoppers are having. They will help you get the $5 coupon and proper rebate form.

She explained to me how this was (hopefully) going to work, and quite honestly, it's a mess. All rebate requests WILL be honored, even if you purchased some of the items not listed on the Kraft Shopping list here (http://www.kraftfoods.com/SiteCollectionImages/ImageRepository/BTS/ShoppingList.pdf). However, it's not clear yet how that will all work and how long it will take. I highly recommend keeping copies of everything you submit and if 6-8 weeks goes by and you still haven't seen anything, call 1-877-932-7948 to at least make Albertson's aware that you haven't received your rebate.

Thanks for posting this, Superbob!

Yep, you're right - the top level of the cat deal is 4 or more. Great shopping!

Went to my favorite Albies today and forgot totally that they are in the process of remodeling and nothing is where it used to be. BUT - I did the Kraft deal and got my $5 cat and $20 MIR, even though my total was below $25 after coupons. I waited as long as I could after I got my receipt, but the cat machine wasn't blinking, so I went up to CS where my most un-favorite mgr was working and was getting ready for battle. Just for the heck of it, I wandered back to my cashier and asked if anything printed after I left. She said "Oh Yes! I was hoping you'd come back - these are for you!" and handed me the $5 cat and the MIR. So, I wonder if that's what happened to me the other night, too. It's insane that it takes so long to print.

Does anyone know the $ amount limit on the free milk WYB 4 General Mills Cereals?

The cereals were $2.50 each. Use two $1/2 Qs and two doublers to get four boxes of cereal and a gallon of milk for $6. Oh, what did you mean by limit?

The one's I got before were milk up to $4.50, maybe that's what they want to know??

My DH got me an Oregonian today, I went to go through my q's a little bit ago and there are NONE!! Grrrr! Is there anything I can do? Oh, and our paper lady skipped us today, too and there are 3 doublers in our paper. I was looking through MIL's earlier. We are going shopping tomorrow, so even if we call and get our copy of the paper it won't be until the afternoon -- too late. No doublers and no coupons for me

I went to 2 stores today, one had the ads with the doublers out on the CS counter and the other didn't. You might find the doublers at the store, or you could ask for one.

You can use 7, unless you have a store that would notice/care that you're using a coupon on a free item.

Ok so I finally made it Albies to do the Kelloggs rebate. I used a raincheck to get poptarts 5/$5 and bought 5 other Kelloggs items that are on the list. My only problem is that the cashier rang all 5 poptarts as 1 item for $5. So on the reciept it looks like I only bought 6 items. Didnt realize this until I got home.
Do you think if I send in all 10 UPC's w/ this reciept I'll still get the rebate??

hate to get another carrier in trouble, but if you raise enough ruckus, a paper will be at your door within an hour!!:whistle67:

My Albie's had them at the register today. I didn't even notice the sheets and she went ahead and used them off my total for me!

DH called the local paper, yesterday's should be in our box right now (we haven't checked).

I emailed Oregonian this morning but haven't heard anything back yet. I better, they even advertise over $80 in coupons on the front!

We went by Albies today and I went to CS and asked for the SUNDAY ad with doublers--she handed me a Tuesday paper and I didn't want to say anything :rolleyes24:. I did my 5 capri suns, 5 easy mac cups and 10 go packs today. Then another transaction with random stuff. The kids had me frazzled so I forgot to ask the cashier for doublers until my transactions were done. Just then the other CS lady was walking by so she asked her if she could help me and the CS lady told me to come to the desk and she'd take care of me and she did! Got a refund for the doublers, nice!

The pacific/carpenter Albies has $.50 q's attached to Sierra Mist 2 ltr bottles right by the front door (double makes them FREE). They also have extra doubles at the customer service desk inside the ads.
