Anyone have Leaf Miners before? What natural product do you use to kill pests?

sevens dust, you can buy it at WM, make sure it isn't about to rain, be sure to stand DOWN WIND when you sprinkle on leaves.

HI, i am not sure what a "leaf miner" is..LOL.. but we have what we call cut worms here... They will strip a tomatoe plant in one day...

I use wettable sulfur.. It is cheaper than seven dust and still works when it rains or when you water..

Seven dust is good but you have to worry about rain, water, and the price..

hope this helps.

Also not sure what the leaf miner is, we've had tomoato worms (looked like a catapiller with a horn).... we sprinkle corn starch all over the plants. Supposed to help kill anything, without putting harmful chemicals into the soil.

leaf miner is an insect that leaves swirly silver looking trails in your leaves. Hard to kill & can destroy whole plant in short time.

Sevin dust is not natural at all.

Spinosad is organic and will get rid of them. Other bugs that eat the bad bugs are also a good defense system. Find out what attracts them and plant that with tomatoes. I plant rosemary and basil with my tomatoes. Nastriums, marigolds, and borage are also good general companion plants.
