Did Kellogs Deal today at Albies

I did the Kellogs deal "Fuel for School" today and it was crazy and ended up being about an 1 hr ordeal. My cashier was sweet as could be but for some reason the $10.00 Albertson's coupon wouldn't go through. First they told me it was because the Eggo Waffles were not part of the deal then when I traded the Waffles out for two other items it still wouldn't take the $10.00 off. Then they tried taking the $10.00 off before my MQ coupons, that didn't work either. Finally they just pushed it through. It is a good deal but took some time. I bought 10 Kellogs items, 3 peaches and a gallon of milk. This came out to $16.00, $1.33 an item and then once I get my rebate the total cost will be $6.00 (.83 cents an item, counting the peaches as one item). Not a bad deal!

My neighbor also had the same problem with the $10.00 Albies coupon not going through. They pushed hers through too.

I ended up not doing the Kraft deal because I ran out of time. Hope someone will post if they do the Kraft deal. Just saw another post that the Kraft Deal is not available in the DFW area.

Anyone else have problems with the Kellogs deal?

I did the deal today and got the following:
6 packs 8 ct. Rice Krispies treats ($3.00 each=$18)
4 packs 8 ct. Nutri-Grain bars ($3.00 each=$12)
2 Albertsons brand coffee ($2.99 each=$5.98)

Total=$35.98
-$10 coupon from circular
-$5 OYNO catalina from P&G deal
-$5 using 5 of the $1.00/2 coupons from the Kellogg's back to school insert
-$2 from Fuel for School booklet found in store at Kellogg's bus display for $2 off store brand coffee WYB two packages of Nutri-Grain bars
-$2.99 because coffee rang up for wrong price and the Albertson's policy is to give one product free if the wrong price rings up
Final OOP=$10.99

I'll be sending in the MIR for $10.00 which will end up making this shop $.99. I would have liked to buy some Eggo's, but they weren't listed in the ad, so I didn't even try it.

Does anyone know what the price is on the Eggos? Since they are pictured on the $10.00 off 10 I thought I might get some and stock up for school. With the $1.00 off 2 and the $10 off it might be a good deal. I already did the MIR.

I saw Eggos in the store at $3, but I wasn't looking too closely...

I did the Fuel for School deal with 10 boxes of cereal. Used (4) $1/2 coupons and a $1/1 peelie I had lying around. My $10 store coupon went through first and with no difficulty.

Final cost after rebate: 50c/box - my son was very impressed... ;)

I guess it will still be cheaper to do the eggos at Walmart and use the $2.00 off fruit there as well. Thanks!
