Just received an e-mail from RedPlum saying that Seattle's inserts are going to be coming in the mail from now on:sad: I live in Kitsap County so our Redplum inserts will still be coming in the paper, for now. But our inserts are so pathetic compared to Seattles. Redplum listed another local paper that will have the Redplum inserts, so I'm hoping that it will have the better insert, otherwise, half of my coupons will be wiped out! I'm wondering how other couponers in other cities who have had this happen are fareing?
sorry to be the bearer of bad news in the morning:shrug7:

I think this could be marketing opportunity for some of the smaller local papers. Carrying RP could boost sales hint hint.
The good news is that many people will throw them away.

Do you mind sharing what 'other paper' that is?? I live in the same general area that you do :-)

I've found that our local Herald has better Red Plum coupons than the Kitsap Sun. What I haven't done yet is compare those coupons with what everyone else is getting. But, it is better to get some than none.

The Tacoma Tribune still carries the Red Plum. The Seattle Times is no longer worth buying with only a SS in it though. Haven't bought an Olympian so not sure what's in that one but it used to have sucky inserts.
