My Mentos Q's say Do Not Double, but it's always a crap shoot to see if they do. My Publix will double them, but my Bi-Lo told me it was a no-go.

I got a bunch of the mentos a couple weeks ago.
the coupons double(unless over-ridden by the cashier not to, I guess)

but the registers have been reprogrammed I think, because now coupons adjust to only double to the amount of the item - for the mentos the coupon came off as .55 and then .44

anyone know how - for example - a $1 coupon is working on an item that is .75?? (sorry I dont have a specific item to use as an example, just wondering....)

The registers for the most part where I shop have doubled only to the price of the item with a few exceptions....

I used the $1 ravoli coupons on the $.88 cans and the full $1 came off.

aw man! have you checked around at the other stores? my mom used to shop at a bi-lo that doubled only to .50 but then when she checked around she found one not too far away that doubles to .60.... :shrug7:

The Morganton store is way out of the way coming from Marion, but they double to .99. It is just sooooooo far out of the way. I love the store though! Help there is usually so friendly. I only wish they had those self scanners! :0)

I moved to Old Fort and go to the Marion store. Morganton is quiet a good hike for me. Thank you for mentioning Black Mountain. We go there on weekends some to eat. Why didn't I think to check their Bilo out? Duh Terri!...... PP, Morganton doubles to .99c? We went the 1st weekend we moved and management told me they double to .60c but some .75c Q's double (which I took as they double to .75c since she said she didn't understand how that worked). I was let down in Morganton since my main reason was to check out HT and man alive that HT was ooooold and the size of a shoebox....... Gonna go call Black Mtn store and see what they say since today is our grocery shop day.

Oh man Old Fort? Talk about no shopping! We were there 2 weeks ago (Curtis Creek campground) and we found the Galaxy grocery store and the Family Dollar and Dollar General and one other small no chain grocery store....you have slim pickins!

Lol! Johns Grocery? I do shop Galaxy and Johns for their meats and veggies. Pretty good prices on those. But, yeah, I'm lost w/o everything close by like when I lived in Greenville SC (31 yrs) and Asheville (1 year)...... I called the bilo in Black Mtn and they said they double up to .60c. According to what Q's I have and when we visit, I'm goin there instead of Marions store.

Edited to say..... I feel like a total goober! Ha! Went thru Uscan today and noticed my .60c coupons doubled (in Marion)!!!! Talked to a manager and she said up to .65c, so whoever I talked to when I called had it wrong saying .50c. I feel better now! Lol
