I am wondering if its just me getting cold feet .I printed a bunch of coupons today ,but now I got to thinking can I use these without problems ?
I mean some now are saying do not double ,or BOGO and now I am scared I am going to stack my cart .Hand over the coupons only to be told that either they won't double them and or they won't honour the BOGO coupons .
How do you all handle these situations ?
I have had my share of cashiers being awful toward me ,I guess I am scared of it happening again .
Oh and using a coupon with a logo but it does not say to only use it at that store .
:hectic1: this is how I feel right now

I know how you feel. I am building myself up for the Fuel for School Kellogs rebate. I have (4) 2.00 of fruit when I buy 2 eggos and (2) 2.00 off store bread when you buy 2 kellogs friut snacks..and I just know they are going to beep. Some of the cashiers just push them thru but some don't. I hate the feeling of.. Are they going to take them? Are they going to give me a hard time? It is the suspense that kills you!!
You can always just say "Never mind I do not want it", if they do not want to take your q's. I have already had to say it because the only reason I am buying these items is because of my q. If I cannot use the q I do not want the item becasue I sure ain't gonna pay full price for it:hysterical:!

Here's a pair of socks.
Call and check if the store you're planning to shop at takes IPs (computer printed coupons). Although most stores take them in a corporate sense, it is always up to individual stores to determine if they will or not and if there are lots of issues in their area, they may not. While you're on the phone, ask them if there are any limits on quantity or anything else you should know about using coupons (verify that they double which is a regional thing, etc.). Then just go for it.
And so what if someone tells you that you can't do it? Then just say "never mind" and either purchase regularly if you really want the item or ask them to take it off your order. If anyone gets rude with you, calmly ask to speak to a manager. It isn't a reflection on you, it is a reflection on them if there's an issue as long as you don't contribute to it. Don't take it personally and don't let them scare you.
You can do it!

i know what u mean!! my worst is walmart and if the coupon is over the product amount...you would think by now with people using coupons they should be ok with this and know how to adjust it on their registers but everytime i feel as if im doing something wrong or never has anyone ever tried doing this and u are evil kinda feeling....i just go by how im feeling that day...if im in a kind of daring mood ill go, if im feeling rushed or nervous i just skip it:wavehi:

I have always made sure by going up to customer service and showing them what I have. A friendly smile, and a sense of humor goes a long way! LOL I just tell them that I would just like to verify that they take these coupons and let them know that I don't want to create any problems for anyone, so I figured I would ask first.
Also, when I get to the check out line, I always, always separate what I have a coupon for, and what doesn't have one. Coupon items are always the first things, and then the other stuff. And I let them know "everything up to XX has a coupon, this way it makes your life easier!" I have had NO problems with any cashiers by doing it this way!! *knock on wood*

As the saying goes, Prepare for the worst, but hope for the best.
If they tell you that you can't use a coupon, just ask why, have them explain (so you don't make the same mistake again) and ask them to take the item off your order.

There were a lot of great ideas posted already but in case you still feel a bit shaky, I thought I would try and encourage you to go for it! Today I went out for my first real couponing shopping trip and was shocked at how easy it was. I went to 5 different stores (all are very close together) and did not have a single problem. All but 2 of my coupons were printed off of the internet. None of the stores in my area double coupons so that was not an issue for me, but I did get to use all of the coupons I planned on using and even picked up several more while walking through the store!
Just get out there and go for it and I'm sure you will be hooked just like I am!:Added :
